As God took John the Baptist Home after he had introduced the virgin-born first Coming of the Word, He took Brother Branham Home after he introduced the second Coming of the Word. This was ordained to cause their disciples to follow the Word Himself, rather than the messenger who had introduced Him.

Brother Branham’s funeral service in December 1965 preceded his burial, which took place on April 11, 1966, after his wife, Sister Meda had recovered from her injuries.
