Abraham's Seed Today
We've been following Abraham's seed, discussing how natural Israel types Spiritual Israel, the Church or spoken Word Seed of Christ.
The spoken Word of God is the original seed (Luke 8:11). Abraham's Seed are they who recognize and manifest the spoken Word for their day. They are those among the first Adam's children also foreknown as children of the last Adam—spiritually conceived in new birth by faith in the spoken Word seed for their day.
The Law was a natural shadow of wonderful spiritual realities eyes have neither seen nor yet conceived. Realities to come not by the work of men's hands but through faith that energizes God's spoken Word to manifestation in its designated, decreed season and time.
Therefore we see that the Law was something that would attract the religious natural man who could see with his eyes and be seen by the eyes of others to be doing God's good work, when inwardly, he might be "full of dead man's bones" and bound for a Devil's hell.
In John chapter three, Jesus was speaking to a godly man who was by no means a hypocrite, but a natural and not a Spiritual man whose name was Nicodemus. He was an elder in Israel and supposedly qualified to instruct others in the things of God. But when Jesus presented the New Testament promises he couldn't understand them even when they were explained to him.
John 3:10-15, "Jesus said, Are you a master of Israel yet without understanding of the promise of redemption" (Ezekiel 36:26-27)?
"We understand what we're saying, and what we say we've discerned of God; yet you can't see the revelation. I explained a terrestrial blessing—the baptism of the Holy Ghost or new birth—but you can't believe it. How then can you believe if I speak of celestial realities?
"And no man has ascended to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man who is in heaven. [John 1:18 says, "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father [as His heart-thoughts, the Logos], He has declared [or expressed] Him," or unfolded the fullness of His attributes and character in the flesh of a Man. That's how Jesus came down from heaven and yet remained in heaven and—is the Spirit expressed as Word by the Angel Gabriel to the virgin, Mary, and the manifestation of the inspired thoughts of Isaiah's prophecy.
I Timothy 3:16, "Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God [not a second or third person] was MANIFEST in the flesh . . ." Jesus was the Logos, God, made manifest on earth. We're to express our part of the Logos here on earth. If ever we were a part of the Logos, our lick of Fire will come to Life when we hear the Word for our day.
Poor old Nicodemus had a bit of a damp soul. Even Jesus couldn't set it on Fire. A type of the foolish virgin or non-elect among Israel. If we are a part of the Logos, we came down from heaven in the Word Mary received from the Angel. We were manifest in Christ who is the fullness and accounted crucified in Him. That's how the Bride is sinless and without fault—we paid for our sins in Christ on Calvary—died in Him, descended, rose again, and are even now seated in heavenly placed in Christ Jesus. As far as God's concerned, it's finished (II Corinthians 5:13-21; Colossians 3:3). We just have to find our place in the Word and come to our position in the Body. In other words, come under pre-eminence to the Word for the manifestation of the Sons of God and the translation.
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal Life."
Abraham's natural seed, Israel, types Abraham's Spiritual seed the Church. Early on their journey, Israel came to Kadesh Barnea and Moses sent out one man from each tribe to spy-out the land. They tasted of the fruits but looked away from the supernatural promise of God to the dilemma of winning the land in their own strength. Looking upon the natural circumstances, they discounted faith and God's ability to honor His Word.
Paul typed Kadesh-Barnea with the early Church but whereas Abraham's natural seed was under a conditional promise the promise to Abraham's Spiritual seed is unconditional. Hebrews 6:4-8, "It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [as Israel had tasted of the firstfruits of the grape harvest and experienced the place of their natural rest], and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [as Israel saw that His Word to them was tangible]. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame. [That's why Moses forbad them to do battle for the Land, because they had fallen away from the faith and were now trying to conquer the Land in their own strength. Israel had already committed the unforgivable sin. After Moses forbad them, and prophesied they would wander for forty years in the desert until the last of the adults perished, they insisted on fighting the inhabitants of the Land and were defeated]. For the earth which drinks in the rain and brings forth herbs for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God: But land that bears thorns and briers is condemned, and accursed and raised by fire."
Those who are genuinely born-again can never be lost. That symbol of Abraham's natural seed signified the destiny of those among the early church who tasted the Pentecostal blessings but refused to move on by faith and receive the Promise or new birth. What of the borderline believers in Laodicea, or in this day (Revelation 22:11)? Joel prophesied God would restore all the Word Satan had diluted through the Church Ages (Joel 2:23-25). And Peter said God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17-21).
Hebrews 6 points to the apostasy in these days, the second crucifixion of the Word and the destiny of the denominations in the Lake of Fire. Do we see giant denominations, multinational corporations, and feel like grasshoppers in the global village and NWO? Or do we see the Promise of God to Christ's little flock? Straight is the gate and narrow the way but few there be that find it. But broad is the path that leads to destruction in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 2:1-25; 19:20; 20:10).
Moses was a type of church organization. He glorified himself when he smote the rock a second time, and denominations glorify themselves in their own works be they speaking with other tongues or building hospitals and Bible schools. The rock that represented Christ had already been smitten and brought forth natural water that preserved the natural life of a dying people, showing in type what Jesus would accomplish on Calvary. There Spiritual Water of the Holy Spirit atoned for believers dying under sin's curse, and brought us eternal Life.
Smiting the rock a second time when God said "Speak to that rock", showed the insufficiency of faith in the PART-Word revealed to the Church Age saints to bring the end-time Bride under pre-eminence to the Word, for the manifestation of the Sons of God and translation without physical death. Moses' death without entering the Promised Land showed in type how the saints of the Pentecostal or Laodicean Church Age must physically die and then resurrect before they can enter the millennium, and how the churches died spiritually in the last Age by smiting Christ the second time and taking glory to themselves.
Another thing I want you to notice is that when Moses left for Egypt to tell Pharaoh to release the Hebrews, he was so taken with his own ministry he forgot to circumcise his son, and God would have slain him (Exodus 4:18-26). How like organized religion today promoting their works and their ways and missing the most essential thing—seeing people circumcised in heart and ears, or born-again—separated from the world and baptized into Christ (Luke 10:38-42).
Circumcision was the token of the seal of Abraham's Covenant (Genesis 17:11). All of Abraham's seed must have it. Today the organized churches have signs and wonders and the Gifts of the Spirit without the Seal of the Spirit. They are not in the New Covenant, not born-again, and not Abraham's seed. We must have the Token or evidence of the Life of Christ on display for the world to see it's not us willing and running by our own works but God in us. Not works, but faith in the present Truth. Look at the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25, five of them were uncircumcised spiritually speaking because they were not in the Covenant, not under the Blood and full of the Oil of the Holy Spirit.
God sent the prophet William Branham in these last days to restore the apostolic faith and "finish the mystery of God" (Malachi 4:5-6; Matthew 17:11; Revelation 10:7). But men will not hear and are falling backwards into the mess whence Luther rescued the world 500 years ago (Isaiah 28:8-13).
In II Timothy 3:1, 8-9, Paul said, "Know this, that in the last days [the Messianic age of redemption and completion] perilous times shall come." Because of brainwashing by Judaizers the churches teach us poor Jews are the persecuted ones when they (along with organized religion) are our persecutors. Consequently few Christians understand that the great tribulation commenced when General Titus invested Jerusalem and persecution has come upon the Church, in large measure by the Jews' Roman Catholic false church (Matthew 24:15-29a; Revelation 7:9-19; 20:4). Following the apostasy of the world church system and the revelation of the Seven Seals at "the time of the end" (Daniel 12:4, 9; Revelation 10:4), "perilous times" are about to come upon Christ's end-time Bride. The beast of the Papal Roman Empire is rising and her denominational daughters are returning to the mother church. The image to the beast of Imperial Rome, the apostate (once) Protestant United States of America is becoming increasingly violent (if that were possible), while Jewry and the Black Nobility will soon enter into covenant with Rome to fulfill Revelation 13:11-18 and 17:11-18. We will be ostracized by "the squeeze," and following the earthquake at the close of the Gentile dispensation (Luke 21:25-28) we will become a hunted and persecuted little group as the Lord tries us to manifest that we are the Sons of God.
Paul typed the spiritual wickedness of the days of Moses with today: "As Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so will [feral and unholy carnal people described in the preceding verses] also resist the Truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate [or hardened in unbelief] concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest to all men, as theirs also was."
God performed the miraculous signs and wonders through Moses first which Jannes and Jambres impersonated secondarily. And only after God had revealed the mystery of the Seven Seals through Brother Branham did the false Christs and false teachers take the "letter without the Spirit" to impersonate the revelation. Jannes and Jambres could impersonate all the plagues but they could neither heal nor restore because God alone is the author of life, and the false Christs and false teachers have been unable to expound the mysteries God revealed through William Branham from their own Bibles. The last plague in natural Egypt was death; and in today's Egypt of the world church system, it is Spiritual death. If Satan cast out Satan, his kingdom would be divided.
Man's moral and spiritual development has diminished in proportion to his technological advances. The moral state foretold in II Timothy 3 has materialized. People attend church, speaking with unknown tongues without the Spirit, and try to follow God's children to the millennium as the Egyptians tried to follow Israel through the Red Sea. But they are uncircumcised, without the Covenant, and their folly will be made manifest like Jannes and Jambres and Pharaoh's army.
The carnal church will perish in the tribulation while the seed of Abraham will have the faith of Abraham. When Israel came to the desert God fed them manna and quail fresh from heaven every day. God provided fresh manna six days. What remained must be destroyed or it would make them ill. On the sixth day they gathered twice as much as on other days and it remained fresh until the seventh.
Here is a type of the Seven Church Ages. God sent six Messages of PART-Word from heaven by inspiration to the heart of His angel or messenger to the Age. The six angels were Paul, Irenaeus, Martin, Columba, Luther and Wesley. The saints of those Ages were baptized into Christ by faith in the Message God sent to their day, making them written epistles of that part of His Word. As it was in the days when Abraham's seed were in their journey to their Promised Land, the angel to the seventh or Laodicean Church Age had no fresh manna, his ministry was to restore and correctly place the original manna once delivered to the apostolic saints (Malachi 4:5-6; Matthew 17:11; Acts 3:21).
That ended all seven Church Ages; Christ's ministry of Mediation was over. Next He fulfilled Revelation four and five and descended from heaven as foretold in I Thessalonians 4:16, with the "Shout" of Brother Branham's end-time Message revealing the seven sealed mystery of God, calling both wise and foolish virgin out of Babylon into the Body of Christ. Jesus said "another Mighty Angel came down from heaven clothed with a cloud and the rainbow was upon His head and He placed judgment on the beast from the sea [Rome], and the beast from the earth [the (once) Protestant US "image to the beast" (Revelation 10:1-7).
Since the Church Ages are over, we don't go to Paul, Irenaeus or any of the seven earthly angels. Abraham's seed go to Christ, the Mighty Angel with the open Book, the Covenant Angel. We take the full Word from His hands, and become one with it (Revelation 10:7-11).
Most so-called Christians do not that the Church Ages ended in 1963. Like Abraham's natural seed, they are spiritually dead and know it not (Revelation 3:17-20).
Moses' group complained because they had to travel the long, hard way to the Red Sea then bypass Edom who refused to allow Israel to pass through his land. And they complained of the manna which they called "light" or contemptible bread. So God sent a plague of poisonous snakes among them, to punish them.
The same thing has repeated in this day. People are not willing to take the hard road of the uncompromised simplicity of God's Word. They are not prepared to remain a separated people but choose the denominational short-cut through Edom; it's the easy way but they're bitten spiritually by hiss of the Serpent. How many under the banner of this Message neglect to prove all things in God's Word and receive the hiss of the serpent rather than the coo of the Dove? The "letter kills but the Spirit gives Life".
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal Life."
Amen! That brazen serpent represented sin already judged, and was a type of Christ, our sin-offering. It represented God's grace to Israel, the natural seed of Abraham. There was nothing they could do to heal themselves, no self-works; just look in obedience, believe by grace through faith, and live (Numbers 21:8-9). It shows that the Covenant is for both natural and spiritual healing (Isaiah 53:5).
All we need do today is look to Christ and live. Prayer, learning and study will follow as you grow to maturity. Just take Him at His Word and look to the One who has finished the work we could not do: accept it by faith and receive His Life.
We look away from the PART-Word of the Church Age Messengers unto Christ, the Fullness of the Word and live. There is no longer any Life in PART Word for since revelation of the Seven Seals, we have "that which is perfect" and Christ is no longer a Mediator for "that which was in part" (I Corinthians 13:10; Acts 3:21; Revelation 10:7). Look away to Jesus, the fullness, and live.
Now is not the time to murmur against the Message. Now is the time to become one with it and "speak" your requirement, knowing you are only asking for what you are. Now's the time to recognize your place in the Word and who you are, and take your right as Abraham's seed.
Most of Abraham's natural seed were without faith and doubted God would fulfill His promise. And they had no confidence in their own ability to overcome the Land. God said they would wander in the wilderness for forty years until the last of them had perished.
The natural types the Spiritual. Moses and the original church died in the wilderness never setting foot in the Promised Land. But God led their children into Canaan under the headship of Joshua and Caleb. Brother Branham led the Laodiceans out from denominational bondage and introduced Christ's second or 'parousia' Coming as publicly commissioned by the Lord in an audible Lord on the Ohio River but like natural Israel, most who came out refused to enter into the Fullness of the Word who is our Promised rest. They tasted of the heavenly Gift and saw the evidence, but were borderline believers and have been wandering in a spiritual wilderness since 1963.
Moses was a type of Christ and Brother Branham who led the Seed out, but did not take the heirs of the promise in. Joshua, who was with Moses from the Exodus, types the Holy Ghost as he led them into the Promise. The Promise for Abraham's natural seed was a place of natural rest for man's body and mortal spirit. The Promise for Abraham's spiritual seed is the Place of eternal rest for man's soul. One in Palestine, one in Christ.
Caleb who was also with Moses faithfully followed Joshua; he types the true five-fold ministry today, leading Abraham's spiritual seed under instructions from our Joshua, the Spirit.
The old generation has almost gone. Those of us who can receive God's Word by faith hold to and apply it, are Abraham's seed who will cross into the eternal Land of the Millennium without death.
God doesn't deal with groups, nations or denomi-nations. He deals with individuals from those groups. When He dealt with Abraham's natural seed He wasn't dealing with the whole nation of Israel but with an election within the nation (Romans 9:6). He was only dealing with those who had faith. Likewise, God isn't dealing with all Gentiles but from the tiny minority among us with the faith of Abraham He's separating a people for His Name today.
Jesus said "These signs shall follow them that believe." Those who have faith are Abraham's seed today. Now when you see something in God's Word that is real to you, and the picture is the same from Genesis to Revelation—hold to that faith, Abraham's seed, and God will bring it to pass. bb981219.htm
