We received a few phonecalls from readers which brought the subject of "high pressure fundraising methods" to our attention.
It is difficult to ignore the entirely voluntary activity, engaged upon by the caller and the respondent. It is quite unlike the method used by the Australian Tax Office (ATO) for instance, or for that matter the method used by Treasury, which 'skins' the average Australian family of $30,000 per year. And this amount can be expected to rise unless a significant number of Australians 'grasp the nettle', so to say!
And we must not forget the kind of economic policies imposed by Canberra which are garing the nation, as well as saddling it with astronomical debt.
If we let this slide for a little longer we could end up another Mexico!
Phone conversations are particularly susceptible to unilateral discontinuation. I.e. the respondent can hang up at any point of the conversation, if he or she feels "under pressure".
In addition, in my experience, all donations and purchases over the phone are subject to CONFIRMATION, by Law. I.e. donations or sales agreed upon over the phone must be confirmed IN WRITING by the respondent/customer! A "cooling off" period, a time to re-consider is mandatory.
A Sense Of Urgency!
Australian Main Stream (MS) Political Parties are bankrupt, heavily dependent on the goodwill of the International Financial Community(IFC). Australia is being looted by the IFC, of some $30,000 per family per year ($150 Billion) and probably more.
Australian MS political parties have subscribed to contractionary economic policies for the past three decades.
Australia is in need of a new political party which is genuinely 'grassroots', i.e. financially supported by its constituency and not by Big Business, Big Unions, and the Financial Institutions.
Australia needs an informed and active electorate, capable of facing the distractions and diversions produced in the media. People who are capable of seeing through the machinations and manipulations by 'think tanks' funded by the IFC. Australian people must also be alerted to the threat of IFC funded narco/'indigenist' terrorism, for which the rundown of Australian security forces is tantamount to sending out invitations.
The threat of monetary collapse, and financial implosion, can produce, according to Michel Camdess, CEO of the International Monetary Fund, "an international banking crisis in a flash".
There is a great urgency for basic information of how to deal with this planned chaos to be imposed upon the world when the monetary/financial system collapses. Such a plan has been prepared and needs to be disseminated for it to be effective. To do this in a workable manner millions of dollars are needed. For too long the electorate has had its head in the sand. A few 'stalwarts' have been hoping to buy peace of mind by paying from $20 to $70 (7 to 20 per day?) for subscriptions to various publications of the 'alternative' media. In the mean time these well-meaning people ignore their additional and substantial expenditures on Main Stream media services, ranging from newspapers and magazines at upwards from $500, to thousands of dollars on videos and computer technology.
Unless we are prepared to FUND OUR OWN GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT we shall be led by the nose, and Australians will continue to vote for their own executioners.
It seems that such people just do not want the trouble of weighing up reality and have no idea of the impending peril. They are incapable of stirring themselves into action, just muddling on in their own way, falling deeper and deeper into the snares set for us by the IFC.
Attacking Fundraising.
It is really amazing how stubbornly "dumbed down" the people of the 'developed' nations are. Some of us who have lived under the Nazis will be sensitized to the urgency.
One day in May 1940 the Dutch were a 'free' people, within one day Rotterdam was flattened. In five days it was all over and the Dutch were under military rule, progressively starved in the land of 'milk and honey'. Tens of thousands of Dutch people died from starvation during the 'hunger winter' of 1944-45.
It took another forty-five years for the peoples of Eastern Europe, who were under the 'knout' (scourge) of Communism, to see the end of this regime, only to find themselves in bondage to the IFC's austerity conditionalities and its sly looting system. Living standards went through the floor. Life expectancy dropped, child mortality has risen ominously. The mafia has taken over where the KGB left off.
It can happen in a flash. We have the word of Michel Camdessus, CEO of the International Monetary Fund. One day we are free, and then in a space of a few days our future crumples, and we find ourselves in debt bondage paying, paying, paying.... Three or four times the principal and still finding the debt mountain has grown beyond our capacity to repay.
Pray that Australia can be saved this fate.
While Canberra gives away hundreds of billions of dollars, should we begrudge funds to those people who firmly believe that Australia can be turned around? Are we not shooting ourselves in the foot, when we do not dig deep to help those who tirelessly hand out newsprint on street corners, letter box whole suburbs, with information Australians need to know?
