God told Brother Branham, "Leave Jeffersonville, to do the work of an evangelist." In deference to the wishes of his mother-in-law, he put off obeying God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. At seven, he foresaw a vision of the 1937 Flood, and the Ohio River was thirty-two feet above Spring Street, Jeffersonville. God took the life of his first wife, Sister Hope, (pictured here with Brother Branham), and their baby daughter through the Flood. |
