When Laodicea refused Christ our nominally Christian nations rejected the Absolute of God's unchanging Word and the world entered its fatal cycle of universal lawlessness that cannot now be restrained for the common principle of Spiritual and moral suasion is denied. What remains is force: deceit imposed by crooked laws, force of arms and the corruption of Mammon. Our news items reveal a hoax or human experiment more deadly than the Y2K Millennium Bug that was allegedly devised to maintain US stock prices until after the 1999 Presidential elections, and to compel internet access enabling data collection, surveillance and manipulation of the public mind for global control of everyone and everything.
I refer not to the hoaxes of 9/11, the Bali, Madrid, London and other bombings in the carefully choreographed "war on terror," rape and asset-stripping by of public-private partnerships, AIDS, or SARS, but to so-called avian flu, which is also related to Lucifer's millennium end-game for world hegemony. Apart from transforming borrowed US dollars into Third World debt via the World Bank and back into corporate hands in exchange for unproven vaccines, to sustain the greenback bubble and world economy until the Money Power is ready to be collapse and replace it with Edomite redbacks, the United States knows that when the banksters foreclose on them, they will call-in Third World debt and redeem their fiat money with nations and slaves and the souls of men.
More serious is the peril that once the banksters and their corporations have swapped their fiat money for our hard assets and we have our glass beads, Tamiflu and irrevocable debt, the powers-that-be will release man-made diseases upon useless eaters, perhaps by "avian" Chemtrails.
Brother Branham said, "How we thank Thee, that in this great hour, when all hopes of mortal life has finished . . . Atomic bombs are laying in hangers, hydrogen bombs, sickness and diseases, germ warfare . . . O God, and everything the way it is, knowing that the Bible said that man would actually rot in their flesh . . . But that Angel was given commission, "Don't you touch any of those! While you're in the Body of Christ, you are as free from condemnation as He is. You'll never have to stand any judgment. God caused judgment to be struck upon His Body. And if you're in Him, God cannot judge you because He's already judged you when He judged Christ. Amen!
You can't be judged ever again. Christ took your judgment. Once you are baptized into the Body of Christ you are free; the wrath of God will pass over you. That's why He said, "When I see the Blood, I will pass over you."

You are what You Eat
Brother Branham said, "When . . . food is hybrid, that food makes blood cells, and blood cells are your life . . . they inject these here injections into the meat, and now it's proved that these injections take effect upon the human race. . . They spray the fields with this DDT . . . and now we got eight hundred sick people in this community from eating eggs. Do you remember years ago when . . . I was prophesying, and said, "It shall come to pass in the last days, don't live in a valley and don't eat eggs" . . . That was way back in 1933. . ." "When I heard of that egg situation the other day, I went back in my book where the Lord spoke to me in 1931, and there I had written in my book, "In the last days, warn the people not to eat eggs or live in a valley" . . . not knowing what fallout and things would be, but yet the Lord forewarned that . . . everything will be poisoned. . ." (There is Only One Way Provided by God for Anything, p. 7:46; COD p. 1181:Q427).
After reading these quotes, a Sister who is a doctor did a search which revealed that eggs are contaminated with DDT, DDE and like toxic products. The following links describe the level of DDT in eggs and the general side effects of an accumulation of DDT in the human body:
In 1999 the Veterinary Medicines Directorate in the UK found samples of the persistent organochlorine DDT above the maximum residue limit (MRL) in eggs produced on a free-range farm. DDT was banned in the UK in 1984 (pan-uk.org).
DDT and its breakdown products have widespread persistence in the environment, and a high potential to bioaccumulate. It has a reported half-life in the environment of 2-15 years . . . DDT and its metabolites can lower the reproductive rate of birds by causing eggshell thinning which leads to egg breakage, causing embryo deaths. Sensitivity to DDT varies considerably according to species. Predatory birds are the most sensitive. In the US, the bald eagle nearly became extinct because of environmental exposure to DDT (pan-uk.org).
Something fishy happens when the pesticide DDT gets into eggs—it can transform genetically male fish into apparent females. These altered males are fertile, able to lay eggs that produce young, according to a new study (zinkle.com).
A growing body of scientific evidence indicates that exposure to very low doses of certain persistent organic pollutants (POPs)—which are among the most toxic substances ever created—can lead to cancer, damage to the central and peripheral nervous systems, diseases of the immune system, reproductive disorders, and interference with normal infant and child development (pops.org.mk).
Environmental researchers were taken by surprise in recent years by the numbers of "feminized" males found among several wildlife species. The effects were finally traced to pesticides and other chemicals that behave like estrogens—but don't in any way look like them. Scientists are coming to appreciate that chemicals don't have to resemble estrogen to mimic them. Estrogen mimetics act by interfering with steps in the endogenous chemical-signaling pathway through which estrogens normally work. . .
Recent reports, not only of feminized wildlife, but also of the possibility of a precipitous fall in sperm counts of people and of the rise in hormone-related cancers, such as breast cancer, have brought popular attention to environmental hormones—estrogen, in particular (vienna-doctor.com).

World Bank pledges Avian Flu Funds

World Famous Prof questions the Holocaust
December 5, 2005 – I've checked out Churchill's Second World War and the statement is quite correct—not a single mention of Nazi "gas chambers," a "genocide" of the Jews, or of "six million" Jewish victims of the war.
This is astonishing. How can it be explained?
Eisenhower's Crusade in Europe is a book of 559 pages; the six volumes of Churchill's Second World War total 4,448 pages; and de Gaulle's three-volume M?moires de guerre is 2,054 pages. In this mass of writing, which altogether totals 7,061 pages (not including the introductory parts), published from 1948 to 1959, one will find no mention either of Nazi "gas chambers," a "genocide" of the Jews, or of "six million" Jewish victims of the war. Israel: Time running out for Iran
Tel Aviv — Israel has launched an aggressive public campaign to warn the world that time is quickly running out for diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has warned that a nuclear-armed Iran is "unacceptable"; IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dan Halutz has predicted that US and European diplomacy is bound to fail; and the head of Israeli military intelligence, Major General Aharon Ze'evi-Farkash, has warned that Iran will reach a "point of no return" in its nuclear ambitions by as early as March 2006. Former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has explicitly called for "pre-emptive" military action against Iran.
The uncharacteristically visible Israeli statements come against the backdrop of an official Iranian announcement of its plan to build a second nuclear reactor, in addition to the current one in Bushehr, in the province of Khuzistan, and of plans to build 20 reactors overall "to meet its energy needs".
An Iranian lawmaker has stated that Russia would fund the second reactor. Israel has also expressed deep concern about the Russian intention to sell Iran sophisticated surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles, which could be used to thwart a potential Israeli raid. Russian Patriarch, Iranian Parliamentary Speaker discuss Interfaith Dialogue
Moscow, December 12, 2005 — The head of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Iranian parliamentary speaker met in Moscow Monday to discuss interfaith dialogue.
Patriarch Alexy II and Islamic Consultative Assembly Chair Gholam-Ali Haddad-adel praised the work of the joint Russian-Iranian commission for Islamic-Orthodox dialogue. Alexy II said it was "an exemplar of mutually beneficial cooperation" proving that "together, we can counter attempts to impose secular values all over."

Bush Plans Overhaul of US Foreign Aid System
December 11, 2005 — President George W. Bush's administration is drawing up plans to carry out the biggest overhaul of the US foreign aid apparatus in more than 40 years in an attempt to assert more political control over international assistance, according to officials and aid experts . . .

Communion and Christ's New Name
Communion means a fellowship of close and intimate two-way conversation between two or more persons who are in one mind (Amos 3:3; Acts 2:1).

We commonly speak of the Lord's Supper as "Communion" because the partakers are those who are joined to the Lord in a new birth by agreement with the revealed Word for their day such that they are one as Jesus prayed in Gethsemane and living above the reproach of the Word (John 17:21-23). Perfect harmony and unanimity between the Head and every Member of the Body of Christ abound not by government but mutual love through faith encouraging each to fulfill his responsibility for the edification and strengthening of the whole (John 15:4; I Corinthians 12:11-27; Ephesians 4:11-32). Before we partake the Lord's Supper we should examine our self with the Word and if we feel a Brother or Sister has something against us, take them aside for reconciliation and if needs be, apologize; or if we feel we have brought a reproach against the Body, confess our fault and ask forgiveness of the assembly (Matthew 5:21-26; 6:12-15; I Corinthians 11:27-33; James 5:16).
Communion or oneness with the Word is not cranial shadow but the substance of a life read by all men (II Corinthians 3:1-5). Christians are recognized by the Token of the Life of Christ on display, not the put-on of a clerical collar, cross or certificate of scholarship. Let us therefore review our life in the mirror of God's Word, confessing our shortcomings, making restitution and aligning our self with the mind of God, because the elements of bread and wine represent the Word and Spirit of God manifested in the flesh and blood of Messiah, and when we eat the broken morsel of unleavened bread made with holy hands, and drink of the wine made by the saints, we affirm that our soul is one with the Word and Spirit of God as those elements become one with our body (Ezekiel 2:8-3:3; Revelation 10:9).
Those who partake the Lord's Supper in disunity with the Body of Christ, which is manifested Word, or not having been reborn of the Word, are hypocrites, who deceive themselves. King Melchisedec came in the righteousness of God and gave His life to redeem men back to God. By refusing reconciliation to the Word these further alienate themselves from God rather than celebrating the eternal Life they have through Him.
The Ordeal of Jealousy in the Old Testament types the Seven Vials in the New and illustrates the necessity for living the revelation of the present Truth, not flirting with human reasoning or the Word for a day gone by. Our lives must decisively express the faith of Jesus Christ, not guesswork.
Matthew 26:26-29, "As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat, this is My body. And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, saying, Drink it all of you; for this is My blood of the New Covenant poured out for many for the remission of sins. I tell you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom".
The Old Testament reveals types and shadows cast by the substance of things to come under the New Covenant. To help us better understand our partaking of bread and wine with Jesus in the Father's kingdom we shall review Genesis 13-14 and the truly amazing account of how Abram defeated and put to flight the rear guard of Babylon, Assyria and Persia, "the coalition willing" of his day.
You will recall how Lot separated from Abram, choosing to graze his flocks and herds on the plain of the Jordan, which was well-watered before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Josephus (The Antiquities of the Jews I, 9) wrote, "At this time, when the Assyrians had the dominion over Asia, the people of Sodom were in a flourishing condition, both as to riches and the number of their youth. There were five kings that managed the affairs of this county: Ballas, Barsas, Senabar, and Sumobor, with the king of Bela; and each king led on his own troops: and the Assyrians made war upon them; and, dividing their army into four parts, fought against them. Now every part of the army had its own commander; and when the battle was joined, the Assyrians were conquerors, and imposed a tribute on the kings of the Sodomites, who submitted to this slavery twelve years; and so long they continued to pay their tribute: but on the thirteenth year they rebelled, and then the army of the Assyrians came upon them, under their commanders Amraphel, Arioch, Chodorlaomer, and Tidal. These kings had laid waste all Syria, and overthrown the offspring of the giants. And when they were come over against Sodom, they pitched their camp at the vale called the Slime Pits, for at that time there were pits in that place; but now, upon the destruction of the city of Sodom, that vale became the Lake Asphaltites, as it is called. However, concerning this lake we shall speak more presently. Now when the Sodomites joined battle with the Assyrians, and the fight was very obstinate, many of them were killed, and the rest were carried captive; among which captives was Lot, who had come to assist the Sodomites".
Sodom and the cities of the plain were Cainite civilizations (Genesis 24:37). This may explain why homosexuality was condoned (Leviticus 18:22-30). The fugitive who brought Abram the Hebrew news of the capture of his nephew Lot was born in that land and viewed Abram and Lot as immigrants.
It did not trouble Abram that the princes against whom he went out to war were Semitic and from his former home, and that those with whom he was confederate and whom he rescued were physical Serpent's seed. The motive for the war was to save Lot and the alliance for the right against the alliance for wrong and decisive for him. Other than Nimrod's empire-building expeditions, this is the first war commemorated in Scripture and its cause was the lust for dominion. It brings to mind Isaac's prophecy and Esau's present quest for world hegemony under another name and in a different occupation (Genesis 27:39-41).
Interestingly, the wonderful rescue of the Sodomites by Abram's faith wrought no repentance in the people of the valley although they were already weakened and enervated by their luxury (like today's once Christian world), nor even any gratitude toward Lot, for whose sake they were rescued (Genesis 19:9). God destroyed them fifteen years later.
"When, Abram heard of their calamity, he was at once afraid for Lot his kinsman, and pitied the Sodomites, his friends and neighbors; and thinking it proper to afford them assistance, he did not delay it, but marched hastily, and the fifth night fell upon the Assyrians, near Dan, for that is the name of the other spring of Jordan; and before they could arm themselves, he slew some as they were in their beds, before they could suspect any harm; and others, who were not yet gone to sleep, but were so drunk they could not fight, ran away. Abram pursued after them, till, on the second day, he drove them in a body unto Hoba, a place belonging to Damascus; and thereby demonstrated that victory does not depend on multitude and the number of hands, but the alacrity and courage of soldiers overcome the most numerous bodies of men, while he got the victory over so great an army with no more than three hundred and eighteen of his servants, and three of his friends: but all those that fled returned home ingloriously" (ibid. I, 10:1).
Genesis 14:17-24, "Upon his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and his royal allies, the king of Sodom came out to meet Abram in the Shaveh valley (later called The King's Dale). And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine: He was priest of the God of Highest Heaven. And He blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth: and blessed be God Most High who has delivered your oppressors into your hand. Then Abram gave Him tithes of everything."
"And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me back my people who were captured and take the goods for yourself. But Abram replied, I have solemnly promised the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal-strap or anything that is yours, lest you should say, I have made Abram rich. I will accept only what my young men have eaten; but give a share of the booty to Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre, my allies".
God judges us according to our motive and our objective. Abram and the faithful servants born in his house and trained in the spiritual things of God as well as fidelity to himself (Proverbs 22:6; Genesis 18:19; 24:12-49) were a type of Christ and the Church born in the same House of the Holy Ghost, seeking to reconcile our backslidden brethren and slaying every evil that has overcome them, exposing sin to the Light of God's Word by condemning the lusts that so easily beset their flesh and mortal spirit, to draw them into full fellowship with Almighty God.
Jesus typed Jerusalem and our once Christian civilization with these homosexual cities on the plain (Revelation 11:8; Luke 17:28-30). We enjoy the blessings God has poured out upon the faith of our believing forefathers but through abundance and easy living we forsook the Lord, becoming lukewarm to the Most High and careless in our habits (Revelation 3:14-22).
Instead of us living as strangers in the lands of the Cainites, they now occupy our lands with preeminence over us as Moses, Isaac, Daniel and Jesus foretold (Genesis 6:1-4; 27:39-41; Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:37-51; Luke 21:24). Like backslidden Samson, the Philistines are upon our nations, and when our carnal kinsmen recover strength they will pull down earth's pillars, and perish with the world in Armageddon.
The king of Sodom offered Abram material blessing he declined to receive. Melchisedec served him the Spiritual blessing of a peace offering, signifying their harmony of purpose.
Melchisedec was Priest of God Most High, interceding between the eternal Spirit and Abram, typing Messiah who is an undying priest so long as intercession is necessary for Abraham's seed and therefore His Seed by the baptism with the Holy Ghost or new birth (I Corinthians 13:10; Hebrews 6:20 - 10:39; Galatians 3; Isaiah 53:10; 65:23).
Hebrews 7:1-10, "This Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of everything. He is first of all, as His Name implies, King of righteousness, and then He is also King of Salem, which is, King of peace (for Salem means "peace"). Without father or mother and without ancestral line, He was never born and He never died but his Life is like that of the Son of God, and He remains a priest forever."
"Consider His greatness to whom even Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. And the descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office are commanded by Law to take tithes from the people, that is, from their brethren, although they have sprung from Abraham's loins. But Melchisedec who was without their ancestral line took tithes from Abraham and blessed the possessor of the promises. And it is beyond dispute that the person who has the power to bless is always greater than the person he blesses."
"Today mortal men receive tithes; but in that case it was One of whom it is witnessed that He lives. And one might say that through Abraham even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes, for he was yet in the loins of his ancestor when Melchisedec met him." Every time you do that which is right, your blessings will be visited on your children as will your sins (Exodus 20:5).
This Melchisedec was King of righteousness and also King of Salem which means peace—but there can be no peace on earth until Jesus Christ "the Prince of Peace" is enthroned as King of Peace in the Millennium—Melchisedec unveiled in flesh (Psalm 46; Isaiah 9:6; 65:25; Daniel 9:24; Habakkuk 2:14). Melchisedec's Salem is Jerusalem, which means "vision of peace," the city to which Abram sought but could not find as it was about fifteen feet above his head in an unseen dimension. Heavenly Jerusalem, the mind of God, which is the womb of the Spirit where all the saints are born (Galatians 4:26; Hebrews 11:10; 12:16-29).
"Fornicators and profane persons like Esau who sold his birthright for a bowl of soup are excluded from this Jerusalem, and although he would have inherited the blessing, Esau was rejected and came to a place of no more repentance." His marriage to Serpent's seed women confirmed this prophecy as their offspring are likewise Serpent's seed. When that city comes down from God out of heaven for the millennium its name will be Jehovah Shammah, "the Lord is there," manifested in His saints, as Jesus, in whom God manifested bodily in one Man was called Emmanuel, which means "God with us" (Ezekiel 48:35; Matthew 1:23).
Revelation 3:12, "Jesus said, I will make the overcomer a pillar in the temple of God, (He is that Temple); they will be secure, (sealed to the day of their redemption), and leave it nevermore; and I will write on them the Name of My God (Melchisedec), and the name of the city of My God (Jehovah Shammah), that is coming down out of heaven from My God: and I will inscribe them with My new Name" (Melchisedec, King of Righteousness).
Revelation 22:11, "From the revelation of the Seven Seals, evildoers will practice evil more and more (as I am experiencing); the filthy will be still more vile, while the righteous will continue in righteousness, and the holy will continue on in greater holiness."
Romans 8:33b, "God says I am righteous" (Way Translation).
If an Israelite seeking to approach the Presence of the Lord so much as touched the base of Sinai he would be put to death, for this was the mountain of God's judgment whence issued the curse of the Law upon Israel for rejecting God's promise at Kadesh-Barnea and bowing to human reasoning against the faith. Hebrews 12:22-23, "But we have come to mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, New Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, and to the festal gathering and of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the souls of the just already made perfect".
We are "lively stones" with which God is building that pyramid mountain of grace into His very Presence beneath the Shekinah over the caagsone. In his dream, Nebuchadnezzar saw this mountain grow from a single stone (or witness) cut out without hands and hung on Calvary's cross, until it smote the world empire and became a great mountain (or kingdom) that fills earth and stands forever (Daniel 2; Isaiah 9:7; Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:13-16; I Peter 2:5-12).
Earthly Jerusalem, "which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified," was built by the Serpent's seed who will govern to the consummation (Daniel 9:27; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2, 8). Our city is New Jerusalem who's Builder and Maker is God. Zechariah 14:21, "there shall be no more Canaanites in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day." Revelation 21:27; 22:15, "Nothing unclean or any immoral or dishonest person shall ever enter the city, but only those whose names have been recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. . . Outside the city are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and all who love and practice falsehood".
First God was the eternal Spirit alone with His thoughts. In Genesis 14 He manifest in the theophany called Melchisedec, then Abraham recognized Him in the form of a created Man and He told him what He was going to do, because He was not going to leave the heir of the world without faith (Genesis 18:17-19; John 16:13). Now, the true revelation of Melchisedec is that He was God the Logos before He became flesh: God the Word. Finally the fullness of the Spirit took residence in a temple of flesh born of a virgin and dwelt among us. This was the beginning of God creating Himself a part of His creation (Revelation 3:14).
Jesus Messiah was the first God-man in the new creation. We New Testament saints are the continuation of the same creation as Eve was a continuation of Adam. In the new heaven and new earth, which are the old heaven and earth renewed in the same manner in which your soul was renewed but not replaced, God will be worshipped throughout eternity in the form of His glorified Family, Jesus Christ and His Bride of all Ages. Together we are the Word—God made manifest (Revelation 3:9; 21:5).
God is not a man, He is a Spirit. The Shekinah or Pillar of Cloud and Fire, the theophany, the Man who proved He was the Word by discerning the thoughts and intents of Abraham and Sarah's hearts, whom Abraham worshipped as Elohim before the destruction of Sodom, and He who wrestled Jacob, were manifestations of God. The virgin-born Prophet of Galilee was likewise God manifest. These diverse material manifestations were veils behind which God could display His Attributes. If you have been born-again, your body is a veil behind which God is revealing His Attributes.
Unlike Melchisedec, Jesus had both father and mother through whom He could trace a human genealogy in order to qualify as Adam's kinsman Redeemer and heir to David's throne. There was a time when His life began and a time when it ended. Now He is alive forevermore, an undying priest after the type of Melchisedec who had neither beginning of days nor ending of life. Oh, you say, "Mary was Jesus' mother." Well, she was a borrowed womb but Messiah was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). Before Abraham, He was (John 8:58). He is both the root and offspring of David (Revelation 22:16).
Melchisedec was not the Son of God; He was the Father of the Son of God who became incarnate in the body called Jesus Christ, died and returned to Spirit (John 13:3). The difference between Jesus and you and I is that Jesus was the Word before He was made flesh. He was the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden before He was made flesh, and today He is still the King of peace and King of righteousness. Thus we sing, "The great Creator became my Savior, and all God's fullness dwelleth in Him" (Isaiah 9:6-7; 45:18, 21-22).
Eternal is without beginning and without end. If we have eternal Life we are an Attribute of God expressed in its designated, decreed season and time by manifested faith in the revealed Word for our day, and as part of His Spirit we always were eternal. The natural types the Spiritual. You might be a father, son and human being, but your name is not father, son or person, and you are only one invisible soul made in the image of God visibly manifest in a body of clay so long as your mortal spirit exists to activate that body. When that spirit expires your body perishes, but you your soul, will live on in another dimension unseen by we whose sight is veiled behind curtains of flesh.
God's Names describe the office He is fulfilling in a particular dispensation. Holy Spirit is what God is. God is the one and only eternal Spirit, holy, invisible and without form (Job 4:16; John 1:18; 4:24; 14:9; Colossians 1:15; I Timothy 1:17; I John 4:12). Father is what God became when His first Son, Adam, was formed from the dust of the earth. Prior to that He was not a Father; Son is what He became when the spoken Word made flesh was born of the Virgin Mary, and His compound redemptive Name is Lord Jesus Christ.
Jehovah means "the self-existing One." Jehovah-Shalom means "the self-existing One is our Peace" (Judges 6:23-24; Luke 19:38); Jehovah Jireh means "the self-existing One is our Provider" (Genesis 22:13-14; Matthew 14:15-21); Jehovah-Rapha means "the self-existing One is our Healer" (Exodus 15:26; James 4:16); Jehovah-Raah means "the self-existing One is our Shepherd" (Psalm 23:1; Matthew 26:31); Jehovah-Tsidkenu means "the self-existing One is our Righteousness" (Jeremiah 23:6; Romans 10:4); Jehovah-Shammah means "the self-existing One is Present" (Ezekiel 48:35; Revelation 21:3). Jesus means "the self-existing One is our Savior" (Isaiah 7:14; 45:21-25; Matthew 1:21). There had to be a fall and a people requiring healing, salvation, and so forth in order for God to express these Attributes and gather glory to Himself. Each of these Attributes was manifest in the life and ministry of Jesus Messiah in whom dwelt the fullness of the nature and character of God.
Like any good father, God's purpose is to raise Sons and Daughters whose lives will reflect the glorious Attributes of His character revealed in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 5:8-9, "Though He were a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him."
The very character of Jesus was perfected by suffering. And according to Paul He has left His church a measure of suffering that they, too, by their faith in God while suffering for Him, would come to a place of perfection. Why did He want this? James 1:2-4, "My brethren, count it all joy when you meet various trials; knowing that the testing of your faith works patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be strong in character, perfect and complete."
Why does He stand by? The reason is explained in Romans 8:17-18, "If we are children, then we are heirs of God, and joint-heirs together with Christ, provided we suffer together with Him, so that we may also share glory together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Unless we suffer with Him we cannot reign with Him. You have to suffer to reign. The reason for this is that character simply is never made without suffering. Character is a VICTORY, not a gift. A man without character can't reign because power apart from character is Satanic. But power with character is fit to rule. And since He wants us to share even His throne on the same basis that He overcame and is set down in His Father's throne, then we have to overcome to sit with Him. And the little temporary suffering we go through now is not worthy to be compared to the tremendous glory that will be revealed in us when He comes. Oh, what treasures are laid up for those who are willing to enter into His kingdom through much tribulation.
After the battle was over and the victory was won, Melchisedec met Abraham and served him bread and wine. The same Melchisedec met Abraham about fifteen years later and told Sarah she would fall pregnant at the time of life. This same Melchisedec said, "I will take no more of the fruit of the vine until I drink it new with you in My Father's Kingdom." One of these days when the battle is over, when we have brought back the last elect, and reconciled the lost sheep of the fold, and life is finished, we'll have communion anew with the Melchisedec of heaven, Jesus Christ, King of the heavenly Jerusalem. He'll meet us in the air with the bread and the wine again, and we'll enjoy it together in the Presence of the Father.
Who is this Melchisedec who served Abraham communion after the battle with the kings? The One who had no father or mother, no beginning of days or the ending of life? He'll be there in glorified flesh with nail-scarred hands and feet to give the communion again. That's who Melchisedec was, and we are Abraham's seed by the baptism with the Holy Ghost, which is the new birth.
During Israel's history the offices of king and priest were always separate. In Melchisedec the dual offices of King and Priest, God Most High—"El Elyon"—were resident in one Man. In Zechariah 6 the prophet looked forward to the future when these offices would be combined in Messiah, whose impersonator is the Pope. The priesthood Jesus Christ later instituted for His church is modeled after Melchizedek as the Book of Hebrews explains.
Jesus promised the overcomer would partake the "hidden manna" of the full revelation of God given only to the priest in the Old Testament and not to the general congregation, and every New Testament saint is a priest who receives the revelation of the Word for his age from the Messenger to that Age (Revelation 1:6).
The overcomer is one who receives the present Truth for his day "and a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he who receives it." The white stone signifies a perfect and personal witness to the faith. This witness is not on hard stone tablets like those kept in the Ark but on fleshly tables of the believers' hearts (Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:26-28). That pure witness is your security and no one can cause you to doubt that revelation (Romans 8:26-39).
Jesus also promised, "I will write upon him My new Name." When He has made all things new (Revelation 21:5), then He will take upon Himself a new Name and that Name will be the Name of the Bride also because through the invisible Union the two are one and she takes His Name. What that Name is, none dare conjecture. It would have to be a revelation of the Spirit given so conclusively that none would dare deny it. But no doubt He will leave that revelation to the day when He desires to give that Name forth. It's a revelation "which no man knows saving he who receives it." Suffice it to know that it will be more wonderful than we could ever imagine (Revelation 10:7). nl408.htm
