Revelation Chapter Five

Ephesians 1:13-14 says we now have the earnest of our redemption which is the Holy Spirit. We're sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise by receiving the Gospel of our salvation. Not the Gospel of Luther's salvation, Wesley or Branham's salvation. They won't give the new birth in this day. We receive the Gospel of our salvation when we recognize our day and its Message.

When we can see that part of God's Word living through us, we know we're written epistles of the present Truth. That's the earnest or guarantee of our inheritance until the body is raised, or changed to a glorified form without death.

Our inheritance is everything Adam lost or forfeited, and its been redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 5 describes how this came about, and how God planned it before there was a world.

It's time we knew where we stood. How can we do anything unless we have faith in what we're doing? Our purpose in this teaching is to give believers faith and confidence in what they're standing forand where they're standing. So long as we see It's the Word of God sovereignly placed from Genesis to Revelation, we can have perfect confidence, and there's no way for Satan to move in anywhere.

Were God visible or if He had a certain location, say Rome, Mecca, or Jerusalem, everyone would believe in Him. If we could just go to Him with our requests and have Him answer our prayers at the snap of His fingers, everyone would believe. Faith would be void.

It'll be that way in the Millennium. One day there'll be no day or night, just Eternity. In the New Jerusalem the Shekinah or Light of God will anoint the City on the hill. Then we can walk by sight (Revelation 21:23). But whilst we walk in the valley of the shadow of death, we walk by faith, not by sight.

Faith is a clear understanding of the revealed Word of God. Faith is the only path to God's door. The only way we can find and know Him is as we know and understand His Word.

There are no more Israel's. No more Jerusalems. No more place of natural rest on earth. They're awaiting destruction in this last war that's on the horizon. World War III is called Armageddon. The only safety zone is in Christ Jesus.

Revelation chapter one set the scene for the Seven Church Ages. We see them symbolized in the seven golden lamagsands. The Fire that fell on the day of Pentecost was carried over from Age to Age by the Message of the human angel or messenger God sent to each Age. The word angel means "messenger." And there were seven messengers, represented by seven stars.

These stars reflected the S-O-N Light in the absence of the Son. And the moon, which is the wife of the sun, represents the church which reflects the Light of the S-O-N in His absence.

The new birth for each Age came by a clear revelation of the Message of each angel in his Age. During the Seven Church Ages the Bible was sealed with Seven Seals, and these Messages, signified by symbols in the letters to the angels, were only PART-Word. So up to the end of Revelation chapter three, Christ was a Mediator.

Redemption ended when the last saint predestinated to the Seventh or Laodicean Age was born-again. You think they were all redeemed at Calvary. But Jesus couldn't fully redeem the Church Age saints at Calvary. The Bible was sealed in their day, they had only PART-Word, so Christ was a Mediator for their errors. Then Rome killed the saints, and the faith which was in their hearts, went to the grave with them, and was lost.

From Revelation chapter four, the Church Ages have ended. John who represents the end-time Bride, is caught up in the Spirit to see what happens after the Church Ages. First, redemption is revealed. How an inheritance which was lost has been redeemed again.

If we can see what Scriptures are fulfilled, and what remains, we can recognize our part of the Word and find our place in the Body.

Revelation five sets the scene for the opening of the Seven Seals of redemption. How Christ redeemed the saints in each Age, and who are the redeemed in each Age.

Revelation chapter six shows we end-time saints our position in the Word, giving us faith and coinfidence in what we're standing for, and where we're standing.

If you were sick and afflicted and have perfect understanding that "it's God's good pleasure to make you well," there aren't enough devils in the country to keep you sick. That's right, when you see that it's God's good pleasure to make you well: "by His stripes we are healed," He's done it for you, it's all over.

Its like this. If I'm sincere and you were hungry and starving to death, and you had supreme confidence in my word, if I told you where there was a thousand dollars and how to get it, you'd start rejoicing, as if you had the money. If you believed me.

Likewise before you feel any better, you can be just as happy over your healing before it manifests. You're sure you have it, because you have confidence in the One Who promised it to you. See? Your confidence is that He cannot lie, and He's told you exactly where it is, so you have confidence that you have your request already.

Your faith is the Earnest of your request . . . not yet manifested.

So long as something in your heart says, "I'm the Lord that heals you," that's all you need. No matter what happens, if you get worse, you're just as happy as if you were perfectly well, because you've got the assurance it's over. Your unshakable confidence is the evidence of things not seen.

The Holy Spirit is the earnest of our inheritance. In other words, the assurance, or the down payment, that we've been received into Christ, have eternal Life and are heirs of everything He purchased for us.

The Holy Spirit is God's seal of approval that everything Christ died for belongs to us. It's God saying, "I've received you now, and I'll give you this Seal whilst you're just waiting for your full redemption."

We have the earnest now of our complete inheritance, because God's loosened our roots from the things of the world, and planted us on higher ground. Lifted us up and transformed us from the things of the world to sit with Him in heavenly places. That's the earnest of our salvation.

Revelation 5 reveals our lost inheritance has been reclaimed by our Kinsman Redeemer. He could not defy His Own laws which require a life for a life. So God changed His Form from Spirit, in order to become a human Kinsman, to redeem a natural world to a natural people.

God knew man would fall, yet could not make him fall. He knew man would be lost, but didn't want anyone lost. Mankind had to be lost in order that God could display His attributes as a Redeemer. Man had to fall so God could be a Saviour. We have nighttime, to make daytime right. We have to have sickness, to make us enjoy health. Everything is pro and con.

When the elders advertised for a Kinsman Redeemer, they proclaimed "The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed". John saw a Lamb. Why didn't he see it before? All he could see were the four-headed living creatures guarding the Presence. He hadn't seen it before because it'd been on the sacrifice altar as a memorial.

It was a Lamb only in its attributes because It took the Book from the right hand of Him that sat upon the Throne. A lamb couldn't do that. But in His attributes, Christ was meek and gentle as a lamb. "He was oppressed, and afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not his mouth" (Isaiah 53:7).

It was a Lamb Redeemer God offered when He put Adam and Eve under the blood in the Garden of Eden. And God can never change! Here in Revelation it's a Lamb to redeem a fallen condition and the fallen inheritance of a fallen race of people.

Anything redeemed is something that was lost and is brought back again. What does this Lamb bring us back to? Everything we had at the beginning.

We had eternal Life. We were heirs of the world. We never had to die, be sick, grow old, worry, there were no funerals, no graves, no evil, no death, no gray hairs, no stooped shoulders, no crying, poverty, or mourning. We had jurisdiction over all the earth. We were gods on earth. If a tree didn't look right here, we'd say, "Be thou plucked up and set over there," and it would do it. If the wind was blowing and we didn't want the wind to blow, "Peace, be still," and it did it. Jesus redeemed all that back to us.

Now all nature is groaning, waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God. We have the earnest of our salvation now and can take our brother that's dying with cancer, and pray the prayer of faith over him that will turn the shadow of a man back to health again. What will we do when our full possession comes?

Nature's groaning and we're groaning with it. Nature's waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, because nature was cursed when its master fell. But since our Kinsman Redeemer redeemed the man that's nature's master, all nature is waiting for its master. And that's the Sons of God. God rules His heavens, but this earth was given to man.

When the work is finished, we'll have all things again. Remember, the faith of God's Word was lost and had to be restored before God's purpose (or work) could be completed. The Seven-Sealed Book holds this sevenfold Plan of redemption. So long as we're on life's journey, Satan will war against us. We didn't come to Christ for a picnic, but to share His victory. It's a battle all the way.

The Seven Seals or mysteries are sweet to declare with our lips, but bitter when we come to swallow and become one with them in our life. That's the overcoming partovercoming in the battle against our own carnalityour flesh and mortal spirit waring against the Word in our soul.

Paul discusses his own predicament in Romans 7:14-25, explaining there are two laws working in him. One is the Law of Love in his redeemed soul, re-born of the Spirit of God. The other is the law of sin and death working in his spirit and flesh which were born in sin, shapen in iniquity, and came into the world speaking lies.

When we're overcoming we're uniting with the Word, and it's bitter becoming one with It. And everyone, especially sin-loving church members is against us.

But once we know who we are, and have overcome in union with the Word, it's sweet to testify. We have no doubt, and no fear, just perfect love.

After the Seven Church Ages, Christ reveals Himself to the end-time Bride. ALL of Himselfthe fullness of the Word, in the last Book of the Bible, called,"The Revelation (or unveiling) of Jesus Christ", when It is unsealed.

We'll have all power. We'll have Eternal Life, Eternal health, Eternal youth. We're all waiting for that time to come, waiting and groaning. That's what this sevenfold Book of redemption has brought to us.

In Revelation chapter five we see the Kinsman Redeemer step forth to claim His Redeemed and open the seven-sealed mystery of how He did It, and who He redeemed.

Four Titles belong to the Name of Jesus.

He was by birth, "Son of David." The Gospels of Matthew and Luke trace His lineage and as Son of David, He's Heir to the Throne. The prophet Nathan told David his throne and his kingdom would be established forever, and his seed should build a house for God's Name. Solomon fulfilled these prophecies in the natural but in the fuller sense, they spoke of a greater than Solomon.

The true Church is the House of God that's established forever, and Jesus Christ is its King. In John 14, the Son of David said, "In My Father's Kingdom are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go away to prepare a place for you."

That's right, He went away to fulfill the Office of Son of God and Mediator, interceding on behalf of the PART-Word saints so they could come to their position in the Word, grow into the image of Christ, and eventually, the glorified form in which they'll dwell for eternity. And that's how God sees those He foreknew. Not in these wrinkled pesthouses of corruption, but as young men and women in the prime of life, never to grow old. Jesus has gone away to prepare a place for usall of our positions, so He can reign with us.

As "Son of Abraham", He's Heir to the Royal GrantPalestine and everything in it. Abraham's seed. God told Abraham, wherever your feet tread you will inherit.

As "Son of Man", He's Heir to everything in earth. And we're joint-heirs in all He is.

As Son of God, He's Heir to ALL things.

Satan owns nothing. He's a squatter, and when the fight's over, he's cast into the Lake of Fire with his co-worshippers.

When the Jubilee Trumpet sounds, all goes back to its original owner again. In Revelation 11:15-17, "The seventh trumpet angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever'. And the twenty-four elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, 'We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Who is, and was, and will be forever; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned'."

And Revelation 12:10, "I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, 'Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night'." Satan is cast down to earth at the Seventh Trumpet, cleansing the heavenly sanctuary to receive the Bride.

In Israel, one could not lose their estate forever. It could be forfeited in case of poverty for a sum equal to the value of crops it could produce in the years remaining to the next Jubilee. The owner could demand possession at any time he was able to discharge his debt, or a near kinsman could purchase it back in his behalf. In the year of Jubilee it had to be given back FREE

We learn from Leviticus 25:8-28 that on the fiftieth year on the Day of Atonement, priests rode through the land, sounding trumpets to proclaim the Jubilee Year. It was a year in which all private and public debts were cancelled, and all family estates sold to others, must be returned to the original owners or heirs.

When Adam followed Eve across the time line and the Life line, he forfeited his earthly dominion. Satan legally held it until the Jubilee.

Jesus Christ was Adam's Kinsman Redeemer, paying the wage of man's sin with His Own sinless life. What was Adam's inheritance now belongs to Jesus and the true Church who are joint-heirs with Him.

Now Christ's inheritance was in dispute from Calvary to Pentecost. The Promise: the true Atonement made with Christ's Own blood on Calvary's cross, was doubted. After His resurrection, He cleansed the heavenly tabernacle of the sins of the Old Testament saints. And on the Day of Pentecost, came back with the Jubilee Blessing, and the Holy Spirit baptized the saints in the Upper Room.

From the time the Seventh Trumpet sounds, marking the end of the Gentile dispensation with the sinking of Los Angeles by a massive earthquake, our inheritance will be in dispute. There is another cleansing of the sanctuary. Satan is cast out and incarnates the man of sin. The Church Age saints resurrect, and the Sons of God manifest until the translation.

The true Church will prove God's in the individual by a baptism of the Holy Ghost, NOT in organization. Satan can't bluff beyond the Jubilee. radio079.htm
