One of the Brothers observed that many in Message circles imitate Brother Branham, "wearing the same funny hat, hunting, and reading a Scofield Bible." Impersonators like cultists imitate the external without studying to understand the inside Life by discerning what the Prophet meant from what he said. He cautioned against receiving the spirit of a man and imitating his speech and mannerisms rather than receiving the Holy Spirit with the Token of Christ's Life.
The Brother continued, "I know he disagreed with most of Scofield's comments and can only reconcile the disturbing fact he personally used a Scofield Bible by his familiarity with its format. It is no wonder many who feed on Scofield's notations espouse his anti-Christ Zionist agenda. Perhaps to "thin out his crowd" the Lord did not have him discourage its use".
Fortunately the elect will "prove all things" and not be deceived by the disreputable Mr. Scofield or the Zionist propaganda in his Bible. I once considered buying this Bible, but was dissuaded by the subjective bias in his notes, and their possible influence in place of the Message.
We are called to follow Christ by the unchanging Word of God's holy prophets and apostles. Not by the "letter" of what was said, but by spiritual revelation of their Messages. Brother Branham's language is at times confusing, but the revelation is THUS SAITH THE LORD that may be confirmed from Genesis to Revelation

International Terrorism Does Not Exist
Terrorism is the weapon used in a new type of war. At the same time, international terrorism, in complicity with the media, becomes the manager of global processes. It is precisely the symbiosis between media and terror, which allows modifying international politics and the exiting reality. . .

Collapse of US Economy Imminent
January 21, 2006 – In its attempt to establish a world empire dominating every nation on the planet, the US has exhausted its ability to finance the expansion and the country now faces imminent financial collapse. From all indications, it looks like 2006 will spell the end for America. . .

Regarding Bank of America and Compass Bank Instructions
A family member from Irvine, CA (who's a branch manager at Bank of America) told us two weeks ago that her bank held a "workshop" where the last two days were dedicated to discussing their bank's new security measures. During these last two days, the workshop included members from the Homeland Security Office who instructed them on how to field calls from customers and what they are to tell them in the event of a national disaster. She said they were told how (during such an event) only agents from Homeland Security would be in charge of opening safe deposit boxes and determining what items would be given to bank customers.
At this point they were told that no weapons, cash, gold, or silver will be allowed to leave the bank—only various paperwork will be given to its owners. After discussing the matter with them at length, she and the other employees were then told not to discuss the subject with anyone.

'Suicide Seeds' could spell Death of Peasant Agriculture
United Nations, January 25, 2006 – The group is among organizations urging United Nations experts to recommend that governments adopt tough laws against field testing and selling Terminator technology, which refers to plants that have had their genes altered so that they render sterile seeds at harvest. Because of this trait, some activists call Terminator products 'suicide seeds.'

The Coming God
We learned from Ezekiel 37 and Hosea 4:6 that Israel was perishing spiritually and suffering physically through their "lack of the knowledge" of God. Their rabbis knew by heart the dead letter of the Law and the testimony of the prophets but without the Spirit they knew not God. The nonpareil of theological learning without faith, they killed the Prince of Peace Who is the Logos manifest in virgin-born flesh, because His faith exposed the contemptuous affront of their man-made dogma.
Since the assimilation of so-called Jews over almost three thousand years, the pure blood of Israel has experienced new depths of Spiritual ignorance. Under their influence and the god of this evil age, Gentile nations once raised out of heathenism to know the God of Israel, their Redeemer, are now perishing in a careless, sensual ignorance, and willful abandonment of the knowledge of God, "and professing themselves to be wise, have became fools" (Romans 1:16-32; Revelation 3:17-20).
At some time during the tribulation when the various classes of the "saved" will realize that the first resurrection and translation have passed. They will understand that to maintain their name on the Book of Life it will be necessary for them to surrender their life in martyrdom, and mourn their lack of diligence. And when Israel's elect recognize the Jesus whom their fathers killed with wicked hands is God's Messiah, they will mourn their Day of Atonement as Moses foretold (Leviticus 23:26-32). Meanwhile a more numerous class will mourn the loss of their commercial and worldly interests, and curse God to His face.
Every one of us must weep for his sins; the time for true repentance and holy mourning is when we hear His Voice—before the dispensation change. Today, if you should hear His Voice, harden not your heart like Esau, Pharaoh and the Israelites in the wilderness, who came to the time of no more repentance. Do not hide your sin, but know as you are known. Repent! Place your burden on the Lord, and do so now!
The intensity with which the City of London is provoking Iran, her innocent Muslim brothers and Russia to fulfill Ezekiel 38-39, and the impending bankruptcy of the United States which reached her place of no more national repentance in 1957, indicate the prospect that this will take place in the coming months. If you have heard God's Voice, when will you mourn for your sins and pray, if not as Paul taught, "Today"?
Hebrews 3:12-14; 4:1-11, "Take care of your own heart, brethren, lest you find that it, too, is evil and unbelieving, leading you away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For only if we maintain our original assurance firmly to the end are we sharers in Christ . . ."
"Let us therefore be on our guard, so that while the promise of entering into God's rest still holds good, none of us may be found to be delinquent. For the gospel was preached to us, just as it was preached to Israel under the Old Testament; but the Message they heard did not benefit them because it did not find faith in the hearers. But we who have believed do enter into rest. As He said, I have sworn in My wrath, they who did not believe will not enter into My rest, although His works were finished from the foundation of the world" (Psalm 95:11; Revelation 13:8). "For God spoke in Exodus 20:8-11 of the seventh day like this, And God rested the seventh day from all His works. And in Psalm 95:11 again regarding the unbelieving adult Israelites who refused to enter Canaan, They shall never enter into My rest" (John 6:49).
"Since therefore it remains that some must enter into the rest of God, and natural Israel who formerly heard the good news entered not because of unbelief, God limited another certain day for entering in, when David prophesied long afterward (concerning the day of Pentecost following Messiah's first Advent), Today, when you hear His Voice, do not harden your hearts (as there is another sabbath coming). But if Jesus had given them another sabbath day (when the dispensation changed from the Law to grace) God would have spoken (through David) of another day."
"Consequently there remains a sabbath of rest to the people of God; for he who has entered into the rest of God has also ceased from his own works of trying to earn salvation as God ceased from His works. Let us therefore lay aside all obstacles to faith to enter and remain in that rest, and be careful not to disbelieve God as the children of Israel did, thus failing to enter in".
There are three sabbaths. The original sabbath was the rest of God; when He had finished His work of speaking creation, God rested and watched His Word manifest into material form (Genesis 2:1-3). The second sabbath was a day given only to Israel on Mount Sinai under the curse of the Law to be observed as one nation in one place (Exodus 20:8-11; Numbers 23:9). The third sabbath was received by the Church on the day of Pentecost—when they were all with one mind and in one place they became a part of God in Christ (Acts 2:1-4; Galatians 3:7-18).
Paul explains the fact that God, after introducing a disobedient Israel into the Promised Land, spoke of a day in which His Voice would summons an obedient people into His own Rest. Paul proves that the Rest of God that has existed since the creation, the Rest man forsook, taking the whole of creation into the bondage of corruption following the Fall, is not identical with the rest proclaimed to Israel by Moses and secured for them under Joshua. He explains that this entire proceeding with the Israelites is simply for the instruction of that nation (Galatians 3:21-25) and has its fulfilment through Christ's Atonement and the new birth under the New Testament.
Israel dwelt alone in their own land separated from other nations in a common time zone where it was possible for them to observe the seventh day in which to rest their body and mortal spirit. Christ's resurrection on the eighth day gave eternal Life and eternal rest for the soul. The sabbath can only be observed in the place God has chosen (Isaiah 66:1-2). The sabbath day can only be observed in the land of Israel. Outside that land the Old Covenant is not in effect. The place of our sabbath in not in geography but in Christ, the Word for our day. God has gathered we Gentiles from the four corners of the earth and various time zones into one mind and one common place, which is the present Truth—what Jesus is doing now—our position in the unfailing Body-Word of the Son of man (I Corinthians 12:12-27). We enter and remain in our sabbath twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (Ephesians 4:30; Hebrews 9:12); Israel could not do this, having only a shadow of the true substance we enjoy.
Jesus "magnified the Law" (Isaiah 42:21), so we who have been reconciled with the Logos do not observe certain days because when our soul came into Christ it entered eternity and the Sabbath of peace with God (II Corinthians 5:13-21; Galatians 4:1 – 5:9; Colossians 2:10-17; John 14:20; 17:21). When Jesus died on Calvary, He overcame death, hell and the grave and cried, "The work of salvation is finished!" By grace through faith in the Word for our day we are joint heirs in the blessing of Abraham (I John 3:1-16; Galatians 3:14-29).
Our rest is a Sabbath for the soul. Matthew 11:28-30, "All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. Come unto Me, all you who labour (trying to "earn" your salvation by self-righteous works) and are heavy laden (with unremitted sins), and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find sabbath for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light".
In Isaiah 28:5-6 God set a prophetic date which intimates that when Ephraim lost his deceptive earthly crown Jehovah would take his place in Messiah, the ideal Israel of Isaiah 49:3, and assume Headship over His people who belong to Him. This took place in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection wherein He purchased Israel's debt of sin (Leviticus 16:20-22). Then on the day of Pentecost He became the place of eternal Sabbath for the elect remnant of Israel to whom the Lord Jesus Christ was their crown of glory by the coming of the Holy Spirit as a diadem of beauty, a spirit of judgment to His Bride who sits in judgment (I Corinthians 2:5-16; I Peter 4:17), and the strength of those standing with Him to repulse the enemy (Zechariah 4:6-7). Our sabbath and strength lie not in theology or the will worship of organized religion but in the Holy Spirit – the Rest of the apostolic saints.
In verses 7 and 8 Isaiah turns from Samaria to Jerusalem which will share in the full measure of Ephraim's threatening judgment under Shalmaneser through God's judgments on Judah under the four Gentile world powers of Daniel 2 and share His promise to the remnant "in the third day," almost 3,000 years thence (Hosea 6:1-2; Zechariah 12-14; Revelation 11).
The apostasy of the Hebrew people was a type of the apostasy of the present-day nominal church that will close the Gentile dispensation in unbelief following the example of unbelief that terminated the Hebrew dispensation (Romans 11:32).
Isaiah 28:8-13, "All the tables (upon which the slain offerings were flayed and inspected for sacrificial purity) are polluted by the vomit and filthiness of Judah's drunken priests, so that there is no place clean."
Likewise in the present apostasy, ministers smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, women wear trousers, paint their face and cut their hair. And imitating Israel's mistake in the first exodus, unconverted liars, thieves, prostitutes, drug addicts and others attend the Lord's Table and partake communion as the unconverted mixed multitude accompanying Israel polluted their sacrifice. God told Moses, "when a stranger sojourns with you and you keep the Lord's Passover, let all his males be circumcised; then allow him to keep it as one born in the land: no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof" (Exodus 12:37-50). Thus no one uncircumcised in heart and ears or born-again should participate in the Lord's Supper, for it is death not to take it, and death to take it unworthily.
I Corinthians 11:1-34, "Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he who eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's Body [which is the Church]. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (i.e. they are dead). For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. . ."
"To whom shall He teach knowledge; and whom shall He make to understand doctrine?" (Like the Gentile denominations of today Israel had their childish man-made theology back then). Mature believers: those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little (from Genesis to Revelation): for with stammering lips and another tongue will God speak to this people."
On the day of Pentecost the Gospel delivered by Peter and those from the upper room released the Holy Spirit upon the remnant of Israel and Gentile proselytes who heard in their native tongues, believed and were converted. But the Jews scoffed, "These men are full of new wine," stammering childish nonsense like our temple priests (Acts 2:11-15). The names of those reprobates who refused to receive rest and comfort offered to the weary by the Word of Jehovah were instantly removed from the Book of Life, and in AD70 General Titus destroyed the city and the temple God abandoned in about 594BC as He abandoned the denominations in AD1963 (Ezekiel 10:18; Matthew 25:6; Revelation 18:4).
"To whom He said, This is the rest (prophesied by David in Psalm 95:11) wherewith you may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing or new birth (Acts 3:18-26): yet they would not hear. But the Word of the Lord was spelt out for them by rote and in simplicity, precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken".
In these last days God sent Brother Branham, the prophet of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7, to restore the heart of God's elect children to the apostolic faith and "finish the mystery of God" by revealing the Seven Seals that bound the Revelation of Jesus Christ who is the mystery of God revealed. Commencing with a Message titled 'God in Simplicity,' he "restored all things God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." That is, the fullness of the Word, which is Christ. But the Gentile denominations would not listen, and fell back upon their man-made traditions under Satan's strong delusion where they were broken, and snared, and imprisoned by him.
The coming God was crucified and buried on the sixth day, the day of man. On the seventh day He preached to souls in prison who failed to repent in the days of the previous prophets, and vindicated the departed saints. On the eighth day He rose from dead and ascended on High where He cleansed the heavenly sanctuary or remitted the accumulated sins of the Old Testament saints. Then He descended and led them captive of eternal Life (Matthew 27:52-53; Ephesians 4:8-10). "The same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, Peace be unto you" (John 20:19).
Christians have no prescribed or sabbath day for meeting and worship; but to establish order in our lives and in society we customarily meet on the eighth day, which is Sunday, in honor of the resurrection. Those who claim to be Christians yet observe a sabbath day are denying the resurrection and the coming of the Holy Ghost to redeem and renew their soul for eternity.
Here is what Brother Branham wrote regarding the Coming God:
Revelation 1:7, "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen."
"He is coming. Jesus is coming. God is coming. The Prophet is coming. The Priest and King is coming. The all in all is coming. Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly. Amen."
"He is coming. He is coming in clouds, clouds of glory as when He was seen upon the Mount of Transfiguration, and His garments were shining as the power of God enfolded Him. And every eye shall see Him. That means this is not the Rapture. This is when He comes to take over His rightful place as World Ruler. This is when those who have pierced Him with their creeds and denominational doctrines shall mourn, and all the people shall wail in terror because of Him Who is the Word."
(Revelation 11:7-13, "When the two Hebrew prophets have finished their testimony, Lucifer, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them (Daniel 12:7; Revelation 12:14-17; 13:1-7; 17:8-18). And their dead bodies shall lie in derision, unburied in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Many peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will gaze at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and no one will be allowed to bury them. There will be a worldwide holiday—people everywhere will rejoice and send one another gifts to celebrate the death of the two prophets who had tormented the inhabitants of earth. And after three and a half days the Spirit of God's own Life entered into them, and they rose to their feet; and great fear fell upon all who saw them. And the two Hebrew prophets heard a great voice from heaven saying, Come up here. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud in the sight of their enemies (Matthew 16:28 – 17:9). The same hour there was a tremendous earthquake, and a tenth of Jerusalem fell, killing seven thousand: and the remnant was terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven".
Christ is our sanctuary, all outside of Christ is the world, the great city, wherein all the martyrdoms of saints have taken place. Babylon marks her idolatry, Egypt her tyranny, Sodom her desperate corruption, Jerusalem her pretensions to sanctity on the ground of spiritual privileges, yet all the while it is the murderer of Christ in the members of His Body (Matthew 23:29-39). All of which is also true of Rome, which in agreement with the Jews, will remove her headquarters to Jerusalem and seek to destroy all true believers (Daniel 9:27; 11:45; Revelation 18:24).
By becoming the world's capital of idolatrous apostasy such as Babylon originally was, and Rome has been, Jerusalem is here called also "Sodom and Egypt" for in this trinity the three are one in perfect hostility to the one true God, His servants, and His people.
Paul regarded Jerusalem as the world city whence believers were then to depart in order to "seek a continuing City to come" (Hebrews 13:12-14). Jesus said, "All the righteous blood shed upon earth shall come upon the Jews and Jerusalem" (Matthew 23:37-38). It follows that Jerusalem will be the last capital of world apostasy and so receive the last and worst visitation of all the judgments ever inflicted on the apostate world).
"This is the revelation story of Zechariah 12:9-14. Zechariah prophesied this about 2,500 years ago. It is just about to take place."
(A clear understanding of Bible prophecy must precede its fulfilment. It is revelation that separates the sinner from the saint. Christ must take His rightful place as World Ruler in the heart of His servant nation, that is, the elect remnant of Israel who must obey their Master by faith and love, not Law and government, before He can deliver them and restore the Kingdom to Israel on earth in the Millennium.
Revelation 10:1 – 11:13 is in parenthesis and describes Christ's 'parousia' Coming to we Gentiles through the ministry of Brother Branham, the prophet-messenger to the Seventh Church Age between Israel's Sixth and Seventh Trumpet Judgments, which are the "Woes" of World Wars II and III. These verses also give Christ's Bride a preview of God's dealings with Israel under the Seventh Trumpet which ends the Gentile dispensation, calls the resurrection of the sleeping saints and the manifestation of the Sons of God for the great translation and Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the Sky, then summons Israel to their Atonement under the feast of Trumpets (I Thessalonians 4:16; I Corinthians 15:42-54; Revelation 11:14).
Revelation 11:14-19, "The Second Woe (which was the Second World War) is past; behold, the Third Woe is soon to come. (Indeed it has come, only it has not yet reached the "hot" stage). And the Seventh Trumpet Angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshipped God, saying, We give You thanks, Lord God Almighty, who is, and was, because You have assumed Your great power, and have begun to reign. The nations raged, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and all who fear Your Name, small and great; and for destroying those who are destroying the earth" (Daniel 12:1).
"And the sanctuary of God's temple in heaven was opened and the Ark of His Covenant with Israel (Jesus Christ, the Son of Man) was seen by revelation (as a sign of God's grace and favor restored to Israel), and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail".
This is not the physical return of the glorified Jesus with the saints of all Ages to step out on the ashes of the wicked following Armageddon. This is the realization of His 'parousia' Coming by the 144,000 elect Israelites and their new birth when He takes His rightful place as World Ruler in their hearts. Quoting from Newsletter 413:
Revelation 21:3, "I heard a great Voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place (tabernacle or temple) of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them".
Ezekiel 37:27-28, "My (tabernacle, temple, or) dwelling place shall be over them: and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Then the nations shall know that I the Lord sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in the midst of them for evermore." God's dwelling place is in the heart of all born-again followers of Jesus Messiah – I Corinthians 6:16).
"Listen. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced. . ."
(This "day" will be early in the second half of Daniel's Seventieth Week when faith takes hold of Israel following the death and resurrection of their prophets and the nation of 144,000 is born-again in one day (Isaiah 10:17; 30:26; 66:8; Zechariah 3:9-10).
Some time after Israel's regeneration—after Rome and renegade Jews martyr the Hebrew saints—after Rome breaks her covenant with the self-styled Jewish banksters—after the Jews defect to Judaeo-Communist Russia and annihilate Vatican City and the United States, Armageddon will break out. Then the nations will come against Jerusalem to destroy Roman Catholicism, Judaism, atheism, Communism and all religions, and receive "pure light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view, a manifestation which will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time" (Matthew 4:8-9). It is at this time that God will seek to destroy those nations – Zechariah 12:9; Revelation 11:18).
"Now, when is the Gospel returning to the Jews? When the day of the Gentiles is finished. The Gospel is ready to go back to the Jews. Oh, if I could just tell you something that is about to happen right in this our day. This great thing that is about to happen will carry over to Revelation 11 and pick up those two witnesses, those two prophets, Moses and Elijah, turning the Gospel back to the Jews. We're ready for it. Everything is in order."
("The great thing that is about to happen right in this our day" was the 'parousia' Coming of the Son of man. The revelation of the Seven Seals brought Christ back to earth in WORD form "as a thief in the night" (Acts 3:21; I Corinthians 13:10; Revelation 10:1-7). Christ's end-time Bride and the 144,000 Israelites were all fully redeemed in Christ on Calvary as we were predestinated to be regenerated by the fullness of the Word after PART-Word and Christ's mediation in the office of Son of God were done away").
"As the Jews brought the Message to the Gentiles, even so the Gentiles will take it right back to the Jews, and the Rapture will come."
(God allowed Israel's denominations to be Spiritually blinded by the anti-Christ teachings of the Talmud (Matthew 15:1-9), causing them to reject their Elijah of Isaiah 40:3-5 and Malachi 3:1 so that we Gentiles could join Shem under the tent of the Word. The apostolic saints or elect remnant of Israel brought the Message—Christ, the fullness of the Word—to we Gentiles when Israel was apostate. Now that the Gentile denominations are "materially rich and in need of nothing, but Spiritually wretched, miserable, poor, blind, naked, and know it not," having rejected the Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, their blindness in rejecting the fullness of the Word will turn the Message back to Israel (Zechariah 14:7-8) through the ministry of their Moses and Elijah of Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11 after the close of our dispensation.
Christ's second or 'parousia' Coming is by revelation, first to we Gentiles, then to Israel. His precious feet will not touch this earth until He returns for the Millennium with the glorified saints (Romans 11:25-32). Thus the Gentile denominations could not see His second Coming any more than the Jewish denominations could see His first or second Comings, because they are both looking through the eyes of carnal theologians for the wrong scenario instead of seeking the fulfilment of God's Word.
One more point we will have in common with apostolic saints at the dispensation change will be the persecution of the righteous. As the righteous were persecuted at Christ's first Coming, and have been ever since, we will be persecuted at the close of this dispensation. Brother Branham said, "Remember we have shown clearly all through the ages that even as Adam and Eve fell because they left the Word, so the Ephesian Age fell by turning slightly from the Word, until with every age continuing to turn away, we have a final repudiation of the Word by the World Church system. This Laodicean Age ends in a blackout of the Word, thereby causing a departure of the Lord from the midst. He stands outside calling to His own that follow Him by obedience to the Word. (Thus Matthew 25:6 and Revelation 18:4 are the antitype of Hebrews 13:12-14 – Ed). After a short and powerful demonstration of the Spirit this little hunted and persecuted group will go to be with Jesus" (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, p. 361.1).
"Now, remember what we have read in Revelation and Zechariah. Both come right after the tribulation. The Church of the First-born does not go through the tribulation. We know that. The Bible teaches that."
(God cannot deal with Israel until He has finished dealing with we Gentiles. Brother Branham is referring to the tribulation of the first three and a half years of Daniel's Seventieth Week when the Church is in glory for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb).
"At that time it says that God is going to pour out His Spirit upon the house of Israel. It is the same Spirit that was poured upon the Gentiles in their day. "And they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and they shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart. . ." and each one of the houses apart when He comes in clouds of glory at His Second Coming. Those Jews that pierced Him shall see Him as it says in another Scripture, "Whence did You get those wounds?" and He will say, "In the house of My friends." Not only will it be a mournful time for the Jews who rejected Him as Messiah, but it will be a mournful time for those left of the Gentiles who have rejected Him as the Saviour of this day."
(Brother Branham is speaking of Christ's 'parousia' Coming to Israel by revelation, and not the physical 'erchomai' return of the glorified Jesus. This is what he called "the revelation story of Zechariah 12:9-14").
"There'll be weeping and wailing. The sleeping virgins will be wailing. They represent the church that refused to get oil (symbol of the Holy Spirit) in their lamps (symbol of the body or holder of the oil) until it was too late. It wasn't that they were not good people. They were virgins and that signifies a high moral order. But they didn't have oil in their lamps so they were cast out where there was wailing and gnashing of teeth. . ."
While the Church is at the Wedding Supper, the antichrist covenant that the Jews have made with Rome will be broken. Rome and her allies then send their troops to destroy all the God-fearing, Word-abiding Jews.
But as they come against the city to destroy it, there will appear in the heavens the sign of the Coming of the Son of Man with His mighty armies to destroy them who have been destroying the earth. With the enemy repulsed, Jesus then comes and presents Himself to the 144,000. Having seen His mighty acts of salvation, they have come to know His power. But also seeing His wounds and knowing that they had rejected Him even to that moment, causes them to cry out in the agony of terror and fear, even as did their brethren of old when they stood before Joseph, being sore afraid that they would be killed. But as Joseph said, "Don't be angry with yourselves. It is all right. God was in it all. He did it to preserve life." Even so will Jesus speak peace and love to them" (ibid p.36:2-37:3, 41).
The manner in which the Prophet has expressed himself here can be somewhat confusing as some might misconstrue this as Armageddon, which it is not. Matthew addressed his Gospel to the Israelites. The sign in the heavens is the sign of Christ's 'parousia' Coming to Israel. In Matthew 24:3, 30 the disciples asked Jesus, "What shall be the sign of Your 'parousia' Coming"?
In Matthew 24:15-28 He prophesied Titus' destruction of Jerusalem and the tribulation that would befall true believers throughout the coming Gentile dispensation and said that unless He shortened the days for His end-time Bride, they would be martyred along with Israel, and there would be no flesh saved for the rapture. Jesus cautioned us that in the time of the shortening of days, which is the present holy convocation under the "Shout" and "Voice" of His parousia to us, Do not anticipate My glorified 'erchomai' or physical Coming at this time. My 'parousia' will be universal, and no man can appear universally. This is the Coming of the fullness of the Word once delivered to the apostolic saints in the East restored in the West to gather Jehovah's eagles into the threefold rapture (Zechariah 14:7; I Thessalonians 4:16).
Matthew 24:29-31 speaks of the Seventh Trump and the manifestation of the Sixth Seal, the sign of Christ's 'parousia' Coming to Israel—not His physical return—and Israel's two "angels" or prophets at the Seventh Trump, anointed with the Spirit and authority of Moses and Elijah to gather the 144,000 by their faith in the Message they bring. These events are not in strict chronological order.
Once again, this is not Christ's physical return, but "the revelation story of Zechariah 9-14 and Revelation 11:12-13."
Israel will not physically see the wounds in Jesus' hands, they will "see" or comprehend them by revelation (Zechariah 13:6). Nor will His feet physically stand upon the Mount of Olives but He will place judgment on that offending mountain (Zechariah 14:4). "The sign of the Coming of the Son of Man with His mighty armies to destroy them who have been destroying the earth" is explained in Revelation 19:11-21, speaks of His vindicated Word that will smite the nations in what remains of Daniel's Seventieth Week. The Word that regenerated the saints will destroy the sinners.
Brother Branham goes on to say, "With the enemy repulsed, Jesus then comes and presents Himself to the 144,000." This is somewhat confusing as some might imagine that the enemy had been repulsed by military combat, but this is not so.
Revelation 11:11-15, "After three and a half days the Spirit of God's own Life entered into the martyred Hebrew prophets; they arose, and great fear fell on all who saw them. And they heard a great Voice from heaven saying, Come up here. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies looked on. Simultaneously there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand were killed: and the remnant was affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven".
Revelation 12:14-17 further explains how the enemy was "repulsed." "The serpent cast water as a flood out of his mouth after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood." Or as Brother Branham said, "Rome and her allies then send their troops to destroy all the God-fearing, Word-abiding Jews." (The woman is true Israel, God's elect, whilst the "flood of water" signifies multitudes of troops). "And the earthquake helped the woman by swallowing seven thousand soldiers the Devil-incarnate pope had commanded to destroy the 144,000. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
The enemy was "repulsed" not by physical battle with Jesus and the saints, but by fear through the Supernatural vindication of God's prophets, and death by the earthquake.
"Jesus presents Himself" by removing Israel's Spiritual blindness unto faith and new birth. "His mighty acts of salvation" witnessed by the 144,000 were the "third pull" by which their prophets could curse their enemies as Elijah cursed the sinful children (II Kings 2:23-34), and Elisha smote the army of the Syrians with blindness (II Kings 6:13-18). They witnessed their "third pull" "shut heaven, that it rain not . . . turn water into blood, and smite with every plague as oft as they will." Finally they witnessed their resurrection and physical ascension, and the earthquake that destroyed a tenth of Jerusalem, and swallowed seven thousand of their enemy's troops spared their own lives. No wonder they will give glory to the God of heaven.
"Why did the Jews reject Jesus? God was in it all. It was the only way that He could bring out the Gentile Bride. He died on the cross to preserve the life of the Gentile Church" (ibid, p. 41:1).
The Christian Church is the legitimate continuation of the Old Testament Israel. There is but one Israel, one people of God from the beginning to the end (Romans 11:11:17-24). As Paul explained, the dead wood of unbelief was broken off and the new branches grafted in, but there was only one olive tree. Thus when we Gentiles come to Messiah we are incorporated into the commonwealth of Israel, so as to become fellow-citizens with those Old Testament saints who are already glorified and resurrected (Ephesians 2:12-19).
True, Spiritual Israel is all one Body of the first Adam's descendants, whether Hebrew or Gentile, born anew by the last Adam, the coming God. nl414.htm
