Synod to debate Pope's Supremacy
January 19, 2004 — The Church of England is being asked to take its biggest step towards accepting the primacy of the Pope and the concept of infallibility since Henry VIII broke from Rome 450 years ago. A joint Roman Catholic and Anglican report arguing that the Pope should be recognised as the "universal primate" is to be debated by the General Synod next month.
The Gift of Authority report was published several years ago by the Third Anglican/Roman Catholic International Commission (Arcic). It argued that Anglicans should accept the supremacy of the Bishop of Rome as long as the Pope devolved much of his power to his bishops and local churches. More controversially, the report also suggests that the Church as a body could, in certain circumstances, make infallible pronouncements on matters of teaching.

The Barbarians have taken over
Please stop and try to imagine the terror depicted in this single photo of a Palestinian girl running with some of her belongings while an Israeli Army bulldozer demolishes homes in the Rafah refugee camp. Try to imagine the terror of bombs dropping all around, or automatic rifle fire getting closer by the minute. Ask yourself, "why support war and terror of any sort in any place, especially when all is driven by greed? Ask, which bank breeds terrorism? Why is terrorism tolerated when it is carried out by governments and abhorred when it is an act of desperation by the powerless few? Where are the TV cameras that tell us the truth?" Old City, Temple Mount most at Risk from Quake
January 16, 2004 — The Temple Mount at the Old City would be the worst hit part of Jerusalem if a serious earthquake were to strike the capital . . . The survey was commissioned by Jerusalem municipality and carried out the by Israel Geological Institution. City engineer Uri Sheetrit initiated the survey . . .
Quakes such as the one felt two weeks ago at the Dead Sea, defined as 'often felt, but rarely causing damage,' occur several times a year in Israel. All the experts are certain, however, that an earthquake of at least the same magnitude as the one that devastated the Iranian city of Bam last month will, sooner or later, hit Israel. Israel seeks return of Temple Artifacts
January 16, 2004 — When Israel's chief rabbis meet Pope John Paul II today, they will seek permission to search Vatican storerooms for artifacts such as the huge golden menorah that stood in the Temple in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago.

The Lone Gunmen's "Pilot" Episode
A FOX TV show depicted a US government plot to crash a hijacked Boeing into the WTC six months before 9/11!
Fans of the short-lived X-Files spinoff series The Lone Gunmen may recall that the pilot episode ended with an eerie foreshadowing of the September 11 terrorist attack on New York's World Trade Center. Though the show aired six months before the attack, its final scene featured a commercial airliner aiming at the [World Trade] center, veering away at the last minute, TV Guide Online reported.
But for some reason, the show's images escaped notice in the months following the real-life attacks—something that mystifies one of the show's writers, longtime X-Files producer Frank Spotnitz. It wasn't until the industry newsletter The Myers Report ran a story about the show this week that it caught the notice of TV Guide.
"I know! That's what I've been wondering," Spotnitz told TV Guide. He, Vince Gilligan and John Shiban wrote the episode. "I thought, 'Nobody noticed!' I guess so few people saw the show. But it's strange, too, because that was the pilot, and the ratings were actually quite good for [that episode], and yet we didn't hear anything."
Myers Report columnist Ed Martin wrote that "this seems to be collective amnesia of the highest order. The final act of the Gunmen pilot, which seemingly made no impact last year, now contains some of the most deeply disturbing images ever created for an entertainment program," according to TV Guide.
"I woke up on September 11 and saw it on TV, and the first thing I thought of was The Lone Gunmen," Spotnitz told TV Guide. "But then in the weeks and months that followed, almost no one noticed the connection. Vaccines – Educating instead of Medicating
In the last 30 years, the increase in vaccine shots has coincided with childhood cancers rising to become the #1 disease from which children under the age of 14 are dying.

'Martin Luther' King, Jr. – Communist Fraud
There are two reasons you don't need to know anything about Mike (even his name is a fraud) King, to know that we should not be celebrating a holiday in his name. First, a respectable time needs to pass after a man dies, during which the facts will mature. After sober reflection has considered them, a national clamor will spontaneously call such an honor into being—it if is deserved.
The second reason proves ipso facto that the "Martin Luther" King holiday is a fraud. The only American who used to be so honored—the only one—was George Washington himself, the Father of our country, because sober reflection on the facts proved he deserved it.

Bush ditches Jesus, pleases Jewish ADL

The Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy
When immature believers fell at his feet in worship as the Pharisees were prepared to fall at John the Baptist's feet and worship him (John 1:19-25), Brother Branham said, "See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10; 22:6-9). We are to preach the faith of God's Bible His Spirit has revealed through Brother Branham's Message, not recite the letter of his sermons.
Early in my ministry I used to study, collect and memorize quotations from the Message, and paste together a collage of Message quotes to illustrate my explanation of the subject. I later studied and learned at the feet of a famous teacher in the circle of the Message who was a master in this technique.
Eventually I realized that everything he taught and proved by Message quotes, contained error, yet he had seen the revelations unfolding years before almost every minister. And a quarter of a century later I still believe ministers are preaching the Message from a Laodicean perspective, believing the letter without the revelation for Christ's end-time Bride.
The "false christs and false prophets who would deceive the very elect, if it were possible" are in the very heart of Message circles, and being unaware of their true status are sincerely wrong. We must prove and understand what the Message means, not learn what the quotes say but place them in Scriptural context. And so every issue of our Newsletter admonishes, "everything presented should be confirmed personally in your own Bible".
In my personal experience, ministers who preach by quoting the Prophet without taking his Message back to the Bible to ensure they have a revelation of what he meant inevitably end up preaching error. (I have been there and done that). Their followers are blinded by their familiarity with the quotes and the tendency to confirm what they have heard with the Message rather that with the Bible and cannot see the wood for the trees.
This realization inspired the initiative that had already stirred my consciousness to the fact that the Message is the Key that unlocks the hidden mysteries that are already in the Bible so it is not adding to or taking from but unfolding what the written Word means. Brother Branham instructed us to take the Spoken Word to the written Word, unlock and unveil the mystery of the Bible, and "if your revelation doesn't tie . . . in with the Word from Genesis to Revelation, and tie it together, then your revelation is wrong" (Godhead Explained, #610119A). "I only work by revelation; the revelation has to be the Word. If it isn't according to the Word, then it's a wrong revelation" (Balm in Gilead, #61-0218).
God is going to judge the world one day and He must have an Absolute by which to judge for His justice requires that all men can know that standard against which to measure their own actions. The Bible says God will judge the world by Jesus Christ, and He is God's unchanging Word (Hebrews 13:8). "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from of the mouth of God." Man must live by that, and that alone.
A great deal of nonsense is preached and claimed to be true by men who quote the spoken words of the Prophet, William Branham, without matching them with the Absolute of the written Word to understand what he meant. It matters not what Isaiah, Jesus, Paul, Brother Branham or any other prophet has said because "the letter kills, but the Spirit gives Life" (II Corinthians 3:6). We must understand what they mean because faith is a clear understanding of the revealed Word of God: "without faith it is impossible to please Him" (Hebrews 11:6).
Perhaps the forerunner of a rash of false sects was the Latter Rain Movement that separated in the Pentecostal or Laodicean Church Age and began "ordaining" prophets and apostles, on the basis of the Gifts of the Spirit rather than God's sovereign predestination. They made claims upon Brother Branham but throughout his ministry he spoke against their teachings. Besides, no prophet of God ever identified with organized religion. Despite the evidence of his sermon transcripts, some of his detractors accuse him of being a "Latter Rain" minister. Here is what Brother Branham taught concerning the latter rain:
"This [Laodicean Church] Age started just after the turn of the twentieth century. As it was to be the Age in which the true church would return to being the bride she was at Pentecost, we know that there must of necessity be a return of dynamic power. The believers sensed this in their spirits and began crying to God for a new outpouring such as was in the first century."
"What seemed to be the answer came as many began to speak in tongues and manifest gifts of the Spirit. It was then believed that this was indeed the long awaited restoration. It was not, for the latter rain can come only after the former rain which is the spring or teaching rain. The latter rain, then, is the harvest rain. How could this be the real thing when the teaching rain had not come? The Prophet-Messenger [William Branham] who was to be sent to teach the people and turn the hearts of the children back to the Pentecostal fathers had not yet come. Thus what was thought to be the restoration and the final quickening unto the rapture had not come. In it was a mixture of the unrighteous partaking of Spiritual blessing and manifesting in the Holy Ghost as we have kept pointing out to you. In it also was devil power as men were under the control of devils, yet no one seemed to realize it. Then, to prove that it was not the real, these people (even before a second generation had appeared) organized, and wrote their unscriptural doctrines and built their own fences as every other group ahead of them did" (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, p. 377:2).
Brother Branham's ministry was the former or teaching rain.
"The second forerunner of Christ [William Branham, the Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 – Ed.] will sow for the latter rain [by restoring the elect to the apostolic faith]. Jesus will be the showdown between the denominations and creeds [Matthew 25:6; Revelation 18:4; I Thessalonians 4:14-16], for He will come to back up His Word [with the 'third pull'] and take His Bride in the rapture. [The climax of His 'parousia' Coming will be the translation of end-time Bride]. The first showdown was Mount Carmel; the second was the Mount Transfiguration, and the third will be Mount Zion" (ibid, p. 174:2).
"Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things. One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the Seven Thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the Seven Seals. It will be these divinely revealed 'mystery-truths' that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. [The teaching rain that sows for the latter rain]. Exactly so" (ibid. p. 327:1).
When the seed sown by the former or teaching rain is mature and ready for the manifestation of the Sons of God, the latter rain will sweep the world. That will not take place until after the earthquake that signals the end of the Gentile dispensation has sunk Los Angeles, split the Mount of Olives and demolished the Dome of the Rock. Then the Bride, "squeezed" out of the religious and social order, will become a hunted and persecuted little group.
It is their theological training that causes men to fail to recognize the present Truth. Denominational people are trained not to recognize the living Word. God foretold what Jesus Christ would do, but when He vindicated Messiah the ministers called Him Beelzebub, and their names and those of their followers were removed from the Book of Life. Israel had only a handful of denominations, and none of them recognized Him, proving that the wisdom of man is foolishness to God. Today there are over 33,830 so-called Christian denominations (World Christian Encyclopedia, 2001) and these probably don't include the scores of sects that claim to follow this end-time Message.
Brother Branham said, "God is known by simplicity and the revelation of Jesus Christ in the most illiterate person. See? Not your theology; it's a revelation of Jesus Christ. "Upon this rock, I'll build My Church." No other rock's accepted; no other thing's accepted; no other Roman rock; no other Protestant rock; no other school; no other nothing; but on exactly the revelation of Jesus Christ in a new birth. Watch God's great revelation unfolding."
". . . we have so many different divisions among us and so much mockery . . . because the people lack that revelation. See, they lack that revelation: the teachers" (Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed, p. 41:303-304).
Here are just some of the many false doctrines men have devised by taking the dead letter of the quotes:
The replacement of souls whereby it is claimed that the elect of God are born with a "seed" in their soul and when they are born the second time the old soul dies and the new soul is born in them. This teaching overturns the whole focus of Scripture by changing "redemption" to "replacement" and ignores the fact that the first death is the death of the body while the second death is the death of the soul in the lake of Fire over one thousand years in the future. This will not transpire until after the White Throne Judgment which follows the millennium (Ezekiel 18:4, 20; Revelation 20:14-15). You are your soul, and when your soul is annihilated, that is the end of you.
God is love: love requires forgiveness and redemption, not replacement. The Bible is the story of our near Kinsman redeeming that which was lost, not replacing it with something else, but finding, recovering and reinstating that soul as in the parable of the prodigal son. The "seed" that is quickened in our second birth is the incorruptible Word of God for our day made alive to our understanding and manifest in our lives (Luke 8:11; I Peter 1:22-25). That "seed" received by faith produces our second birth. Babies and infants do not possess the Seed of God, for "faith comes by hearing" and when we were born from our mother's womb, we were unable to speak let alone possess faith, which is a clear understanding of the revealed Word of God (Luke 8:11; I Peter 1:22-25).
This two souls doctrine originated in the Babylonian Talmud that Jesus called, "the traditions of men which make the Law and the prophets of no effect to its followers." In other words, those who follow the Talmud in this day are not in the economy of God as it was in the days of Jesus Christ. This condemnation applies equally to those claiming to be under the New Covenant and following the Message of God's prophet, William Branham, by the letter without the Spirit. The letter of his Message without the Spirit produces the second death with the removal of names from the Book of Life (Revelation 22:18-19).
As Rabbi Judah Halevy, a famous medieval poet and philosopher, explains in Kuzari, "The Jewish people constitute a separate entity, a species unique in Creation, differing from nations in the same manner as man differs from the beast or the beast from the plant . . . although Jews are physically similar to all other men, yet they are endowed with a "second soul" that renders them a separate species." (Zimmer, Uriel, Torah-Judaism and the State of Israel, Congregation Kehillath Yaakov, Inc., NY, 5732 (1972), p. 12).
The Cabalistic tradition of Judaism as it relates to the divine origin of the Jews and the lower level of Gentiles is explained by Rabbi Jacob Agus:
"It is axiomatic in Cabalistic writings that the higher souls of Jewish people are derived from the divine pleroma—the realm of Sefirot—whereas the souls of all other nations are derived from the "shells." Rabbi Hayim Vital does not exempt converts from this rule (Aitz Hayim 7, 10, 7; Aitz Hadaat, Bemidbar). The "Tanya" of Rav Sheneur Zalman was written for the general public. Its view of Gentile souls is in Chapter 6. The Zohar follows the same line, save that in the Midrash Haneelam; we note a certain effort to account for this difference. Before Adam sinned, he possessed the higher soul; after his sin, only his animal soul remained. Thereafter, the divine soul comes only to those who are preoccupied with Torah, entering the body of the Jewish male at age thirteen" (Rabbi Jacob Agus, Meta-Myth: The Diaspora and Israel Zohar Hodosh, Bereshit 18b-19a, Midrash Hane'elam. Etan Levine [ed.], Diaspora: Exile and the Jewish Condition, New York, Jason Aronson. 1983. p. 139).
This false teaching was introduced into the circle of the Message by a man who placed his new birth in the Laodicean Age which means that if he were truly born-again in Pentecost, he cannot be in this end-time Bride and is neither required nor able to receive the fullness of our Message. His "Two Souls" dogma is based on the Talmud that is the antithesis of Moses and the Old Testament prophets and anathema to Messiah and the New Testament apostles and prophets who followed, including William Branham.
A false Seven Thunders teaching identifies the virtues of II Peter 1:1-8 as the thunders of Revelation 10:3-4 and nominated seven men to preach them. These virtues are not the Seven Thunders but represent the "token" predominant in the life of the saints by seven different baptisms of the Holy Ghost in seven successive Church Ages of PART-Word.
There are also a number of "return ministries." One theory declares that William Branham will resurrect and hold a series of tent meetings across the United States, finishing at the White House. Misdirected souls who read this teaching into the quotes purchased a huge marquee and a semi-trailer to transport it. Another version teaches the Prophet will resurrect and fly around the world gathering the saints for the rapture. This group bought a passenger plane and hired a pilot who has since passed away.
Others concocted a Deity doctrine stating William Branham is Jesus Christ, and Jesus' "new Name" is William Marrion Branham. So they baptize, marry, pray, and do all things in the name of William Marrion Branham. Still others imagine Brother Branham's son Joseph is a prophet who has succeeded his father even though he was the last Word prophet promised to us Gentiles.
There is all manner of false teaching on the physical Serpent's seed. One ministry believes we are all sons of Cain. Another teaches that there is no physical Serpent's seed on this side of the Flood—despite what Scripture and God's Prophet instruct. Yet another claims that Esau was physical Serpent's seed which would make Jesus Christ Serpent's seed since Esau and Jacob had the same parents. I have a pile of books and tracts published by Message ministers (so-called) presenting all manner of nonsense that denies the very fundamentals of the faith.
I should like to mention just two doctrinal errors that have revisited my desk in recent weeks.
One subscriber wrote, "There is some confusion concerning the identity of the "angel" who revealed the Book of Revelation to John. Some claim he was the Old Testament prophet Elijah, because, they say, "Nobody ever appeared to anyone before his Birth".
Like Enoch, the Old Testament prophet Elijah was translated. I imagine both men returned to Earth and entered into the harvest offering of the Old Testament saints in Jerusalem once they had come under the blood of the slain and risen Lamb (Matthew 27:52-53). Therefore this angel was not the glorified Elijah who is now under the blood of Christ and cannot contact the living, neither can the living communicate with him.
Since Elijah's ministry was fulfilled almost 3,000 years ago God has endued three other men, Elisha, John the Baptist and William Branham, with the same anointing. Each man shared the same nature as Elijah but ministered a different portion of Scripture. When God sends another Hebrew to Israel with that anointing he too will share that nature but he will minister a further part of God's Word. The "Elijah" sent to us Gentiles was a Gentile Christian "Son" of God whereas the Tishbite being an Israelite, was a "servant" of God. The man Elijah will not return to Earth until the Millennium.
In previous issues of this Newsletter we have explained how Revelation 1:10 and 4:1 instruct us that in the flesh John was on the island of Patmos but his soul was caught up in the Spirit of Christ into the Lord's day. While raptured by this series of visions into a time which is still future, John saw millions of Christian saints. He saw every Christian that ever will be before the throne of God, yet barely any of us had been born 2,000 years ago when John was alive (Revelation 5:11-13).
Isaiah saw the same vision of the resurrected Jesus Christ "high and lifted up, and His train [the New Testament Church] filled the temple," yet neither Jesus nor any one of the saints had been born (Isaiah 6:1). Daniel saw the same vision; he also saw the last pope nearly 600 years before Jesus Christ; and he saw Alexander the Great, Ptolemy I of Egypt, Seleucius, Antigonus, Antipater, Antiochus Epiphanes and a host of other notable men before they were born (Daniel 7:11, 13, 23-25; 8).
John saw the angels Martin, Columba, Martin Luther, John Wesley and William Branham before they were born (Revelation 1-3, 14:6-11). Zechariah, Jesus and John saw the two witnesses who will soon minister to Israel's 144,000 (Zechariah 4:11-14; Matthew 24:31; Revelation 11:3-12).
Is there really any distinction between the revelation of THUS SAITH THE LORD inspired to a vindicated prophet concerning someone not yet born (Isaiah 40:3; 44:28; 45:1; 53; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:13-20) and the revelation of that Word in a vision? Surely not.
Men make mistakes through inexperience, arrogance, or spiritual blindness induced by error sincerely held by ministers and others who teach it. One such example is John 21:18-23, "Jesus said to Peter, If you love Me, feed My sheep. When you were young you were able to do as you chose and go wherever you wished; but when you are old you shall stretch out your hands and others will gird you and take you where you do not want to go. Jesus said this to let him know what kind of death he would die to glorify God. He then repeated, Follow Me."
"Turning around, Peter saw the disciple Jesus loved following [the one who had leant on His breast at supper that time to ask Jesus, Master, which of us will betray You]? Peter asked Jesus, What about him, Lord? What sort of death will he die?"
"Jesus replied, If I want him to live till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me".
"So a rumor spread among the brethren, that this disciple would not die: yet that is not at all what Jesus meant! He only said, If I want him to live until I come, what is that to you".
This illustrates the importance of Spiritual revelation or faith. The disciples heard the Words of Jesus but mistook what He meant. And I wish to point out that the word translated "come" is 'erchomai,' and not 'parousia,' so this false doctrine implied that John would live through the Tribulation to see the physical return of Jesus following the destruction of all life on earth.
"Without a clear understanding of what His Word means it is impossible to please God".
One false doctrine that has been circulating within Message circles for decades holds that since the revelation of the Seven Seals in 1963 brought Christ's second or 'parousia' Coming there is no longer any requirement to observe the Lord's Supper. The basis of this argument is I Corinthians 11:26, "As often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you show the Lord's death until He comes." However, Paul is not speaking of Christ's 'parousia' but of His physical return or 'erchomai' Coming with the saints for the Millennium.
When Jesus introduced the memorial of the Lord's supper in Matthew 26:26-29, "As they were eating, He took unleavened flat bread, blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, Take, eat; this is My body. And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Each one drink from this; for this is My blood sealing the New Testament, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins. Mark My Words; I will not drink this wine again until the day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom".
These verses teach us several important lessons. Firstly, that communion bread is unleavened, (not round like the Moon cakes offered to Astarte, and it should be prepared by holy hands). Secondly, as the bread signified the Word made into His body, and the wine the Spirit made into His blood, we signify by observing this ordinance that we are atoned or at one with His Word and Spirit, so only those who have been baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and who are genuine born-again Christians are entitled to receive it (Acts 2:38-39; Hebrews 13:10). Thirdly, Jesus said He will partake of the Lord's supper with us in His Father's kingdom at the Wedding supper of the Lamb, so the command to observe the Lord's supper has certainly not diminished since Christ's 'parousia' Coming.
The last sermon Brother Branham preached was "Communion," after which he took and served the Lord's supper to the congregation three years after Christ's 'parousia' Coming. He compared communion with the Hebrew Passover in which the participant became one with his sacrifice by eating portion of it. And warned us to approach the Lord's Table with reverence and in sincerity "lest we come together unto condemnation" like Israel whose sacrifices became a stench in God's nostrils (I Corinthians 11:26-34).

Well, what will the antitype do? If the body of a sacrificial animal did that for them, what will the Body of Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, do for us? Let's just be reverent when we come. Let us be just as reverent as we know how to come" (Communion, p. 11:74-78).
