As the "image of the beast" exercises the power of Imperial Rome the world's response to America's transformation into Empire—pre-emptive war, (our) absolute good versus absolute evil (the rest of the world), unchallengeable international military superiority with bases in over 100 sovereign nations, 60 nations that are potential targets for regime change, and George II's vision, "you're with us or against us" rhetoric—has been both predictable and tragic. And the response of the world already ruled by those who direct Bush II has been predictably and tragically mute.

For those who are not of "Caesar" but relied on law as the bulwark of their liberty and guarantor of the ancient landmark which the fathers set, all is now confusion. From the ashes of this chaos a new world order will rise phoenix-like . . . and its name is Death.

E-mail prompts Calls to probe Halliburton, Cheney

Washington (Reuters) June 1, 2004 — A newly unearthed Pentagon e-mail about Halliburton contracts in Iraq on Tuesday prompted fresh calls on Capitol Hill for probes into whether Vice President Dick Cheney helped his old firm get the deals.

The Twofold Nature of Man—the Corrupt and the Truly Christian

Romans 7:15, "I wish to do what is right, but I do what I don't want to do—that which I hate".

A 'nature' is the sum of spiritual and physical qualities and propensities that make up the essential features and elements of character; the intrinsic disposition, inherent tendency or character of a person, object or being. The regenerate soul is invested with the nature or qualities of our "new Man . . . the Lord from heaven" (John 3:13,31; I Corinthians 15:47-49; Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:10). The unregenerate soul in the fallen state does not have faith to be born-again which is to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5-7; 1:12-13; Luke 17:20-24; I Corinthians 15:50).

After the Fall God placed man and woman under two different covenants and told the woman, "Your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you" (Genesis 3:16-17). Spiritually speaking, the soul is the feminine of God and the regenerated soul under preeminence to her new Husband the Word sets her house in order by sanctifying her spirit which brings her body subject. Transformed by the renewing of the mind her spirit takes on the nature of the Holy Spirit because the soul is the nature of the spirit that anoints it. Conversely, the unregenerate soul not subject to the Word serves the desires of its worldly spirit and the flesh it energizes which are worldly because they are a part of the world. Thereby the nature on that soul is of this fallen world whose god is Satan.

Genesis is the Book of beginnings and the two spirits that stood side by side in the midst of the Garden will carry through to Revelation, unchanging in their nature or in their ways.

Genesis 4:3-4, "At the end of days. . ." Cain and Abel each brought an offering to the Lord. By faith "Abel offered the choicest firstlings of his flock," but Cain brought a bloodless offering of labour, fruits of the cursed ground. God vindicated Abel's offering, consuming it by Fire but expressed contempt for Cain and his offering.

Cain was incensed. "And the Lord said, Why are you downcast and darkly brooding as if you've been unjustly treated? Were you innocent and sinless a thank offering would have been accepted as a token of creaturely dependence. But since you are a sinner, a sin offering was necessary by which you would have been accepted with reason to smile, having retained the high privileges and authority of primogeniture".

Convinced that the rejection of his sacrifice indicated this honor had been withdrawn and conferred on his younger brother, Cain's secret flame of jealousy kindled into a settled hatred and revenge. God therefore warned Cain, "an evil spirit is crouching at your soul as a ravenous wild beast ready to spring and devour your will. You must choose whether you will allow sin to have its desire in you, or whether you will rule over it".

Man has ten senses of his spirit and body with which he contacts the natural world but only one sense—faith or unbelief—by which his soul can contact the unseen world. His free choice determines whether he will trust and obey his Creator and receive the Spirit and nature of God, or serve His adversary and receive the spirit and nature of the world, and of Satan.

Cain and Abel were obviously instructed in the "letter" as to the mode and seasons of worship but only Abel had faith. His blood subsequently cries for vengeance—"life for life," according to his revelation of original sin and its atonement, yet the Blood of Christ cries louder—for mercy and the full atonement of an acceptable kinsman redeemer whom Cain was not, despite Eve's misguided hopes (Genesis 4:1, 10; Hebrews 11:4; 12:24).

Without faith or divine approbation Cain displayed a carnal, sensual, vindictive and altogether ruthless, self-centered nature in pursuit of objectives wherein "the ends justified the means." This nature is revivified in the Talmud and its Jesuits! Although Adam and Eve hid and tried to cover their offending parts with fig leaves, Adam did confess his sin, but proud Cain stoutly denies his sin and regrets only his punishment (Genesis 4:9; Matthew 23:33-35; John 8:44).

Genesis 4:15, "The Lord said, if anyone slays you Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold (as if he had killed a policeman). And He set a mark on Cain, lest any finding him should kill him".

Moses painstakingly described the mark of Cain so those with anointed eyes should not fail to recognize his children. It was not any visible mark or brand on his forehead, but a sign or token of conscious assurance to Cain that by his very nature he would be able to preserve his own life. Brother Branham simply described the mark of Cain as human wisdom reasoning against faith in the revealed Word of God.

The nature of the physical and spiritual Serpent's seed reflects the nature of the Serpent and Satan, whereas Christians are admonished, "be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16).

Job 1:6-12, "There was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, Where have you come from? And Satan replied, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord asked Satan, Have you considered My servant Job [whose name means 'hated']? He is the finest man in all the Earth, a perfect and an upright man who fears God and abstains from evil."

"Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Why shouldn't he, when You bless him so abundantly? You have always protected him, his household and his property from all harm. You have prospered everything he does—look how rich he is? No wonder he worships You! But just take away his wealth and You'll see him curse You to Your face."

"And the Lord replied, You may do as you choose with his wealth, but do not harm him physically. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord".

Unrepentant, Cain went out from the presence of God and dwelt in the land of Nod east of Eden. Nod denotes banishment or exile rather than an actual country. As explained in Genesis 4:12-14, with no inheritance in this world or the next, Cain along with his descendants was cursed with perpetual exile, wandering through all nations with no welcome wherever they roam. Generating enmity and rejected because of their nature and reputation, they hide their true identity under a different name and in a different occupation, and (like a corrupt politician or crooked cop) claim a privileged status and victimhood by deceit.

Yet the utility of his Cainanitish talents would find acceptance among Adam's race, and with no scruples the mark of Cain has enabled him to outwit, and finally overcome our godless nations at the climax of each major dispensation. We see this in the days of Noah (Genesis 6:1-7; Matthew 24:37-41); in the days of Jesus Christ Himself (John 15:1-25), and in His 'parousia' Coming to we Gentiles in these last days (Genesis 27:39-41; Daniel 9:27; Luke 17:22-37).

The spirit of Cain has infiltrated, overwhelmed and taken dominion over Adam's race in the fields of education and the professions, banking and finance, media, entertainment, in the arts, in politics and religion, while his physical progeny increase exponentially by marrying into Adam's race through so-called 'multicultural' policies "as it was in the days of Noah." All this because we have put off "the whole armour of God whereby we are able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand with our loins girt about with truth [not adultery], and wearing the breastplate of righteousness [not iniquity], our feet shod with the Gospel of peace [not gossip and dissembling], holding the shield of faith as our defense [not intellectual learning], proudly wearing the helmet of salvation, and firmly holding the sword of the Spirit which is faith in God's revealed Word, our sole weapon of offense" against the perverted genius of the natural and spiritual Serpent's seed.

If this is the armour of God wherewith Christ defended Himself and then overcame His enemy, surely we will follow His example if we have the nature of His Spirit.

Hypnotized by the wisdom of Cain and having put Christ out of her affairs, the United States exported her productive industries, and like Hezekiah disclosed her technological and military intelligence to the enemy. Now she is unable to equip, maintain, replenish or even feed her armies in a sustained war provoked by the Serpent's seed within her own Administration—unless she terminates that war by nuclear holocaust. Already the United States has lost the unjust wars she provoked in Afghanistan and Iraq. George II's June 30 transfer of 'sovereignty' to Iraq will return "next to nothing to next to no one".

America, Britain and their "coalition of willing bootlickers" (like Australia) are a vindication of Brother Branham's prophecy, "the world is going insane." They call themselves Christian nations yet unlike righteous Job they are spiritually and financially bankrupt, morally wretched and miserable, naked of the Blood, blind to the traitors within, and know it not.

Their illegal war was not planned on Intelligence but "with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the revealed Word whereby they might be saved, and God has sent them strong delusion that they should believe the lie"—Muslims are responsible for 9/11; Osama bin Ladin, or al Qaeda? Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction, "liberate" Iraq, spread democracy, etc., All lies! Bereft of Spiritual armour, how can God "bless" America? Or her allies? They have been hoodwinked and blindfolded by material plenty bought at slave labor rates from the Third World on credit charged at usurious rates of interest by the seed of the Serpent who create it at a key stroke, or just run the presses. The love of money is the root of all evil.

Talk about the nature of Satan. America is the "Great Satan" as Jesus prophesied in Revelation 13:11-18. The Ayatollah Khomeini sure knew his Bible.

Without the whole armour of God and the sword of the Spirit the amoral, immoral values of our nations nurtured by filthy entertainments and (so-called) 'music' pumped out by the Serpent's Hollywood cause even the heathen to blush. A large percentage of our military men are in fact women or alien mercenaries, while many 'regulars' have the nature of filthy, low down sadistic beasts. Their deeds reflect Cain's serpent-like nature under whose blows Abel fell, and which were repeated in its counterpart, the bloody murder by the Jewish people of their supposed-to-be Brother. Again we see Cain's nature in hirelings paid to torture and murder true Semites in Palestine and Iraq who would be kinfolk were these hirelings Semitic as they pretend.

Without the whole armour of God the once Christian West under the children of Darkness have taken Satan's nature. Not just in fighting his present wars, America's Southern States remain under martial law from the American Civil War; Germany, Japan and South Korea remain under occupation since World War II. Our peoples have taken the nature of the Serpent's seed that have lawful dominion over us as a judgment from God:-

On D-Day for France (courtesy of the USA): As with Iraq this was largely an American invasion with British-support. In the USA an incredulous public was given the impression that their sons were a band of angels. Thankfully they didn't have digital cameras and camcorders then, or 'Saving Private Ryan' might have been more aptly named, 'Raping Private Ryan'.

Covering these events much later, NBC anchorman Tom Brokaw fell into line with real history and said, 'The bloodied landscape of France and Belgium was American-made. The crimes committed by individual American soldiers—rape, thievery and murder—surpassed the crimes of the 'Nazis' in every respect. Even American generals were stealing from French civilians. During one period over 500 rapes a month were being reported'.

Before, during and after the D-Day landings the Allies dropped over 590,000 tons of bombs on France—equal to almost half the amount of bombs dropped on Germany during the entire course of the war. Over 1 million French homes were destroyed by Allied bombing attacks and some cities such as Caen, Saint-Lo, Carentan, Montbourg and Valgnes ceased to exist.

For every German who lost his life resisting the American invasion of Europe the lives of four Frenchmen were taken. Whereas German troops had wandered at will during their occupation of France, the British and the Americans were repeatedly confined to barracks or had their movements restricted because of the French resistance to their presence on French soil.

On D-Day for France (courtesy of the French): As soon as the American forces had made it safe for the ousted French General deGaulle, brigands and Communist gangs sought revenge for their humiliation.

The most appalling massacres of civilians began to take place whilst American troops stood idly by. Generally the British media ignored these awful events but one English journalist among others of various nationalities, recorded these desperate tragedies. "There has never been, in the history of France, a bloodier period than that which followed the liberation of 1944-1945. The massacres of 1944 were no less savage than the massacres of Jacquerie, of St. Bartholomew, of the revolutionary terror, of the commune, and they were certainly more numerous and on a wider scale.

The American services put the figures of 'summary executions' in France in the first months of the 'liberation' at 80,000. A former French Minister, Adrien Tixier, later placed the figure at 105,000" (Huddleston, op. Cit., 243 & 245-46).

On D-Day for the Balkan Nations: What you will not be told in your 'history books' is that Adolf Hitler, through the Yugoslavian leader, General Draza Mihhailovich, offered to hold the Balkan line with German troops if the United States and Britain would agree to occupy and deny these imperiled states to Stalin's ruthless hordes. Ironically while German troops were dying by the thousands to save Europe from Stalin's slaughterhouse, Winston Churchill, the silk knickers-wearing drunkard and his henchmen had already sealed the fate of these soon to be 'liberated' victim states.

On D-Day for Germany (courtesy of the USSR): "The disaster that befell this area with the entry of the Soviet forces has no parallel in modern European experience. There were considerable sections of it where, to judge by all existing evidence, scarcely a man, woman or child of the indigenous population was left alive after the initial passage of the Soviet forces" (George F. Kennan, Memoirs, 1967, Vol. I, p. 265).

"Since the end of the war about 3,000,000 people, mostly women and children and over-aged men, have been killed in Eastern Germany and south-eastern Europe; about 15,000,000 people have been deported or had to flee their homesteads and are on the road. About 25% of these people, over 3,000,000 have perished."

"About 4,000,000 men and women have been deported to Eastern Europe as slaves. It seems that the elimination of the German population of Eastern Europe—at least 15,000,000 people—was planned in accordance with decisions made at Yalta. Churchill had said to Mikolakczyk when the latter protested during the negotiations to Moscow against forcing Poland to incorporate eastern Germany; 'Don't mind the five or more million Germans. Stalin will see to them. You will have no trouble with them; they will cease to exist'" (Senator Homer Capehart; US Senate, February 5, 1946).

On D-Day for Germany (courtesy of the USA): "At home our papers carry articles about how we 'liberate' oppressed countries and peoples. Here, our soldiers use the term 'liberate' to describe the method of obtaining loot. Anything taken from an enemy home or person is 'liberated' in the language of the G.I. Leica cameras are 'liberated;' guns, food, art—anything taken without being paid for is 'liberated'. A soldier who rapes a German woman has 'liberated' her" (The Diaries of Charles A. Lindbergh, p. 953. Harcourt Brace Javanovich, N.Y. 1970).

On D-Day for Germany (Courtesy of the British and Americans): "Our own Army and the British Army along with ours have done their share of looting and raping. . . this offensive attitude among our troops is not at all general but the percentage is large enough to have given our Army a pretty black name—and we too are considered an army of rapists" (Time Magazine, September, 17, 1945)

On D-Day for Austria: "They came like the ancient Mongol hordes out of the Steppes. The people in the working class districts had felt that when the Russians came they at least would be spared, but not at all. In the working class districts the troops were allowed to rape and murder and loot at will. When the victims complained, the Russians answered. 'You are too well-off to be workers. You are bourgeoisie'" (op.cit. p. 24).

On D-Day for Hungary: "Besides looting, it is especially the raping of women which has caused the most suffering to the Hungarian population. These violations were so general (from the age of ten up to seventy years) that there are practically few women who could escape this fate. Acts of incredible brutality have been registered and many women prefer to commit suicide in order to escape monstrosities. Even now, when order is more or less established, Russian soldiers will watch houses where women live and they will return there at night to take them away" (The Swiss Legation, KAP News Services, Tablet, July 28, 1945).

"I strive not to throw Europe into this criminal adventure. But the States, even the British Crown, are not the masters of their destiny. Powers that elude us are promoting in Great Britain, as in other countries, special interests and an aberrant idealism" (Stanley Baldwin, British Prime Minister 1924-1929 and 1935-1937).

The "elusive Powers" that "promoted special interests" in World Wars I and II are the seed of the Serpent God set at enmity with Adam's race. Their "aberrant idealism" is world hegemony, the true motive behind World War III now simmering in Iraq. One does not need faith to make these observations, yet almost to a man those who reckon themselves born-again by the Message of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 that forty years ago "restored the apostolic faith" and "finished the mystery of God," still do not have faith to identify the physical Serpent's seed! Some have so little faith they don't believe it exists today.

There are churches within the circle of this Message that are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, naked, and know it not! So Laodicean, they regularly invite physical the Serpent's seed into their pulpits, whose stand is unbelief in Jesus Messiah, and who aggressively despise all for which He stood, died and rose again. When not hosting the anti-Christ these churches squander God's resources trying to convert Cain's spawn.

Yet when God exposed the murderer Cain, He did not take his life, "For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgment to the Son" (John 5:22). Sinners are to be judged by their peers, who are the saints, and by the of absolute God's unchanging Word. Cain was banished from the place of worship at the gates of Paradise and from Adam's race (Matthew 18:10-20; I Corinthians 5:5). God is a separator. Our once Christian nations are wracked by the shameful degradations of homosexuality, fornication, adultery and drugs-taking, corruption, lies and hypocrisy at all levels of society. We have permitted the Devil's spawn that God cast out to return and pollute society through our ignorance of and estrangement from the revealed Word of God. Jesus said, "If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you will be invincible" (John 15:7). Yet we find ourselves defeated in our own homes.

To make up for his loss of unity in the fellowship of God and with Adam's race, Cain's great brain set to work to create an earthly center of unity for himself, a collective whereby technological development and pragmatic reasoning that denies the existence of absolute truth, fixed principle or standard beyond what he considers expedient, his civilization would, in process of time seduce Adam's race away from the simplicity of "faith, which is the reality of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen," to man-made things of the world that can be seen and must perish.

We call this Judaeo-communism. Professor Colin Clark, an Australian political economist, said that in the British Commonwealth countries and in the United States "academic Marxism—or crypto-Marxism—is stronger than ever" (E. Merill Root, Collectivism on the Campus, p. 6). The nature of Satan is dominant in the Christian West, and we know it not.

If you wish to understand the nature of the Serpent's seed and identify the mark of Cain, which is the mark of the beast, read Genesis 4:16-24 and the research of Henry Ford. Cain was the first Communist: pragmatic, materialistic, a city-builder, an empire builder whose sons were engineers, metallurgists, architects, inventors, ranchers, poets, musicians, artists and actors; but hybrids born of the adulterous relationship between a Devil-incarnate Serpent and Eve, and not part of God's creation. Like the Serpent, their father Cain was a murderer and a liar—unrepentant, doubly cursed and forever banished from the Presence of God. Out of God's Presence they devised polygamy, adultery, idolatry and murder. Cain was deified as Merodach, Marduk, Sargon, Ouroboros, etc., and Tubalcain as Vulcan. They worshipped the Sun as Apollo, and the planets.

By their sixth generation the Serpent's seed had taken dominion over the antediluvian world corrupting Adam's race through 'multiculturalism' so-called. This 'civilization' derived from the complete assimilation of races in the days of Noah was so corrupt God grieved at having put man in flesh. Two millennia ago, His first begotten Son prophesied a repetition of this state of affairs when Laodicea rejected His 'parousia' Coming as Son of Man. Just compare the nature of the Satan on society in the days of Noah (Genesis 6:1-12) with the nature of his people today (Luke 17:22-27).

Civilization without God brought the destruction of life in the days of Noah; civilization without God brought the destruction of apostate, natural Israel when they crucified their Messiah, and civilization without God will soon bring the consummation of all life. Satan waylaid Adam's race by presenting the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life in a 'civilization' without God. This is the mark of Cain and the mark of the beast.

God blessed Christendom as the head in every sphere but as our ardor cooled Satan began injecting society with intellectual reasoning against God's Word, and "tamed" to the gentility of Christian tenets without faith we were polluted by the seed of the Serpent. For without faith we are ignorant and defenseless against the enemy because we lack the Spirit of discernment to recognize that inwardly their nature is a savage, untamed ruthlessness veiled in sheep's clothing of "the Prophet said" without the revelation of what he meant.

Self-reliant Cain was and without faith dependent upon his own resources of intellect, cunning and brute strength. In order to fortify himself against his inner conscience he began to build a bastion and patriarchy of worldly rule in which the nature of the beast predominates. In seeking to identify with humanity, in particular his kin, the symbolic ideal of Cainite civilization was art and culture, or secular humanism to offset the reality of cultus or worship in Spirit and in truth. This mighty development of worldliness and ungodliness reached its climax with Lamech and was consecrated to sin then as Jesus prophesied it would be today (Genesis 4:21-24; Matthew 24:37-51) as witnessed in the debased arts and entertainments of the people of Ouroboros. And whereas the names of the firstborn in Cain's lineage are generally expressive of pride, those of Adam's race express humility.

Under the aegis of his vicarious father, Cain chose to establish a scientific earth-bound worldly government built for his glory by lesser men, where his father would be worshipped vicariously in himself and man's achievements. Satan, "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2; 6:12) will soon be worshipped by those whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life (Revelation 13:4; Daniel 2; 9; 11:36-45; Luke 4:5-8; II Thessalonians 2:3-4).

When the first Adam took Eve back to himself he forfeited his dominion of Earth and Satan lawfully became the god of this world. So when the last Adam rebuked his temptation by "It is written," Satan offered to trade his dominion in exchange for obeisance, and showing Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time said, "All this jurisdiction and their glory can be yours for it is already delivered to me; and to whomsoever I choose I give it," implying 'It is also written.' For the heathen kingdoms were already in his power, the Northern kingdom of Israel was subsumed and he knew that Judah would yield him the shreds of her theocracy at Calvary because 'it is written:' "Jerusalem shall be overspread with abominations and the land of Israel shall be desolate until the consummation of all life on earth" (Daniel 9:27; 12:11).

Satan is indeed "the god of this world" (II Corinthians 4:4) but it was also written in Isaiah 54:1-5, "Israel's Seed (Jesus Messiah) shall inherit the heathen . . . and her Redeemer the Holy One of Israel (Psalm 16:10) shall be called The God of the whole earth." Thus when God announced in an audible Voice that He would glorify Himself in Christ on Calvary, Jesus said with confidence, "The time of judgment for the world has been announced, and the time when the prince of this world shall be cast out" for Jesus answered only to the Father (John 12:28-31; 14:30; 16:11).

In the meantime Satan rules this world according to law. Cain's children are his policemen and Prime Minister John Howard has identified Australia as their deputy sheriff, confirming Paul's observation that those who are most knowledgeable and zealous of the law often most grossly transgress it (Romans 17-28; Titus 1:10-12). Small wonder Jesus berated the lawyers (Scribes and Pharisees) who rejected the counsel of God against themselves.

The Law was given to the wholly unconverted for the purpose of exposing sin. Romans 5:12-14, 20, "When Adam took Eve back to himself, sin came into the world, and death as the result of sin; so death spread to all men, because all men have sinned. And although people were sinning from the time of Adam until Moses, God did not judge them guilty of death for breaking His Law because there was no Law to transgress. So when their bodies died it was not the result of their own sins for they themselves did not transgress a positive command as Adam had."

"What a contrast between the first and the last Adam who was yet to come. . . The Ten Commandments were given so that all could recognize the extent of their failure to obey God's laws. But the more we see our failures, the more we see God's abounding grace forgiving us".

When Israel had rejected God's grace He gave them the Law as a schoolmaster and rod for their back. When they were not content with the Law and His prophets, God sent them Judges and kings, and when their kings became corrupt He permitted the rod of their own imagination to scourge them with Talmudism, Communism, Nazism and Zionism.

Law, armies, bureaucracy, nicolaitanism, social inequality, usury, dynastic rule and idolatrous religion centered in one man under Satan are a sample of the accomplishments of Cain's civilization and his ministry of condemnation.

Paul, who based all of his teachings upon Moses, declared, "The law is made for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for male prostitutes, for sodomites, for menstealers, for liars, for perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust" (I Timothy 1:9-11).

Any behavior not in accordance with "the glorious gospel of God" belongs to the law, which from what the prophet Paul writes is a jurisdiction foreign to Jesus Christ. This is confirmed in the case of the Brother who was in incest with his father's wife. I Corinthians 5:4-5, "When you are gathered in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his soul saved in the day of the Lord".

Tupper Saussy writes, "Scripture reduces all human interaction to two great ministries: the ministry of Condemnation" (II Corinthians 3:9) and the ministry of Reconciliation (II Corinthians 5:18). Condemnation is the rulership of evil by law; it judges and does justice. Since its subject is the criminal mind ("the strength of the law is sin"), Condemnation requires the brilliance of the firstling, Cain, along with the deviousness of Jesuitry and Sun-Tzu. Condemnation enforces its authority with deadly force—it "does not bear the sword for nothing."

"The ministry of Reconciliation teaches and administers the glorious gospel of Christ. Reconciliation does not judge executably or do justice. Rather, it judges spiritually, it loves, nurtures, suffers patiently, forgives, and rejoices in the truth. Reconciliation never fails because its strength is not sin but the power of God."

"The ministry of Condemnation operates "out from the presence of the Lord." Its only proof of divine association is an inert substance, a seal, a pallium, a miter, a collar, a badge, the mark of Cain, the insignia of its authority to terrorize evildoers. (What Brother Branham called the "mark of the beast," and a denominational "meal ticket"). The ministry of Reconciliation is directly animated by the Lord operating within. It proves divine association by everything it does: its mere existence is its seal" (Rulers of Evil, p. 287:1-3).

This truth was clear in the original meaning of our English word 'evil,' which was understood as judgment, condemnation and punishment: retribution by a calamity sent as chastisement from God and forewarned by His prophets (Amos 3:1-15). "Shall there be evil [judgment] in a city, and the Lord has not done it? The Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secret to the people by His prophets".

Evil is sent by God as a judgment for unbelief and disobedience as forewarned in the prophecy of Amos 3 and vindicated 66 years later when "King Shalmaneser of Assyria came up throughout all the land and besieged Samaria three years" (II Kings 17:5) then Sennacherib transported her people and Israel was no more as Moses had forewarned (Deuteronomy 28:36).

Evil was sent by God as a judgment for Judah's unbelief as Isaiah (39:3-8) forewarned King Hezekiah, whose sin the United States has emulated in our day. Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled when Nebuchadnezzar invaded Judah and took her people captive to Babylon.

Revelation 18:1-24 is God's prophetic warning of the 'evil' or judgment He will soon bring upon the United States of America with the sinking of Los Angeles, and upon all who cling to the blasphemous errors of Rome and her (once) Protestant daughter churches, and shortly thereafter, Vatican City State when it is destroyed by a nuclear attack. This evil sent by God to destroy the false church is Communism. "And I heard another Voice from heaven," as in John 12:28, only this time God spoke through William Branham, the angel to the Seventh Church Age saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins, and receive of her plagues".

As Paul explains, the rulers of evil—Hegelian sham democracies, legislatures, judicatures, Bar associations and constabularies—are themselves evil because "the strength of sin is the law" whose business is to "manage" rather than eradicate sin as a result of repentance, restitution and conversion by grace through faith.

The strength of the law lies in its power to condemn to death because the cause or "sting of death is sin." Were sin done away, death would lose its fatal sting and expire with sin, so sin becomes weak and void when the law is removed, and it is removed by grace through faith alone. God has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ Who is "the way, the truth, and the Life. . . No man can come to the Father, but by Jesus the Atonement" (John 14:6; Romans 8:1).

If we are in Holy Communion we are delivered from the law which is the power of sin, and hence we are delivered also from death. Therefore we are bound to "live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God." This means obeying Caesar's God-given authority to make and administer law—including speed limits.

Galatians 3:10, "All who depend upon the works of the Law for salvation are under God's curse: for the Scriptures clearly state, Cursed is everyone who at any time breaks the least of all things which are written in the Book of the Law".

Righteous Christians justified by faith and wholly renewed by the Holy Spirit are not under the Laws of Moses or civil society. We are above the law and are a law unto ourselves since we do not offend the laws of God or man.

Romans 3:20-23, "No one can ever be made righteous in God's sight by doing what the Law commands, for the more we know of God's laws, the clearer it becomes that we are not obeying them; His laws serve only to make us see that we are sinners. But now God has shown us a different way to manifest His righteousness—not by "being good enough" and trying to keep His laws but by a way prophesied long ago by the Law and the prophets. That new way of expressing the righteousness of God is by the faith of Jesus Christ to remit our past sins and constantly cleanse us by His Word. This way of faith is open to all men of Adam's race no matter who they are, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God".

The Law and civil government are not made for Christians but for the orderly regulation of society in order that Christians may be protected from sinners.

Galatians 5:14-26, "The whole law may be summed up in one word; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. But if instead of showing love among yourselves you criticize and devour one another, beware lest you destroy one another."

"I advise you to walk in the Spirit so you do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the nature of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are contrary to the flesh, each nature is in constant war to win control over the other so our wishes are never free from this tension." This troubled Paul until he discerned between the desire of his regenerate soul to the faith of its new Husband, and recognized the carnal nature of his spirit and flesh striving to bring his soul back under condemnation to the Law (Romans 7:7-25).

"When you are led by the Spirit, you need no longer force yourself to obey Jewish laws (Colossians 2:20-22). But when you follow your own wrong inclinations your lives will produce these works: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, eagerness for lustful pleasures, idolatry, drug-taking, hatred and fighting, jealousy and anger, strife, self-promotion, dissensions arising from diversity of opinions and aims, envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and such like: and as I have told you before, anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of God."

"But when the Spirit controls our lives he will produce such fruit as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no conflict with Jewish laws. Those who belong to Christ have nailed their natural desires to His Cross. If we are living by the Spirit's power, let us follow the leading of the Spirit. Then we won't need to look for honors and popularity, which lead to jealousy and hard feelings".

"But that no man is justified by the Law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by his faith".

Galatians 3:12-13, "How different from this way of faith is the Law which says that a man is saved by obeying every law of God without one slip. Christ has brought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon Himself. For it is written in Scripture, anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed" as Jesus hung on a wooden cross.

The letter of the Law possesses no more binding force for the redeemed in Christ as the law is fulfilled for and in us. Romans 3:31, "Do we make the Law void when we are saved by grace through faith? On the contrary, only when we trust in Jesus can we uphold and confirm the Law." Romans 8:3-4, "For what the Law could not do [because it acted not on spiritual but carnal men] was to liberate men from their Adamic nature; therefore redemption in Christ Jesus took its place when God sent His own Son [in antithesis to the law by angels] in a human body such as ours [only without sin] and condemned sin in the flesh. Now the righteousness of the law can be fulfilled in us who follow after the Holy Spirit and no longer obey the nature in our flesh". And because we take not the "letter" only but also the "spirit" of the Law, "the Law is magnified and made honorable" (Isaiah 42:21). nl327.htm
