As if we didn't know it, democracy is over. America is over. All the United States can boast is an insurmountable debt, no productive economy, and the world's most vicious killing machine.
One might wonder who engineered the destruction of Hurricane Katrina? Was it US HAARP technology, the more sophisticated Russian technology, or a combination of the two? It really matters very little for they are both controlled AT THE TOP by the same Luciferian group. On CNN, August 31, 2005, a spokesman stated that in 2004 FEMA had an exercise in which New Orleans had been hit by a category 5 hurricane! Small wonder recent "natural" disasters and "terrorist" attacks have been so devastating. They have all been thoroughly rehearsed.
The United States is being prepared for martial law and the soon-coming Russian invasion. We should anticipate increasing earthquake activity as we near the Seventh Trumpet. Some of the tectonic forces may be man-induced. The lawless, once Christian, West is overcome by "unclean spirits that came out of the mouth of the dragon, and the beast, and the false prophet" and by "the kings of the East . . . as it was in the days of Noah."
"Isaiah also cried concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant (of 144,000) shall be redeemed: for God will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness (by the translation of Christ's end-time Bride – Matthew 24:22): because a short work will the Lord make upon the world" when after three and a half-year's ministry all Israel is reborn in one day.

The Tsunami that was Katrina
August 30, 2005 — Ivan and Katrina. These are both very Russian sounding names. It has been established that the former Soviet Union developed and boasted of weather modification technology during the 1960's and 70's with deployment against the United States coming in 1976 with the audible arrival of the woodpecker grid. These weather operations continue to this day.
This nation has not faced an economic crisis like the one that Katrina will spark in the days and months ahead. But that is one of the reasons Katrina was guided along the path that we all watched. This path has resulted in maximum damage to the energy infrastructure, transportation infrastructure and to the psyche of those that are susceptible to further storms this year and in the years to follow. Oh New Orleans!
I fully expect one more 'event' this year to impact the United States. My gut feeling is that it will be an earthquake 7.7 in magnitude with insured losses to exceed $25 billion. August 31, 2005 — LaRouche noted that already "On August 2, the general warning had been issued, that we must expect major storms to hit the Southern coasts of the US during the immediate period ahead," and that should have "activated an order from the President of the USA to . . . immediately develop an operational plan of precautionary, preventive and emergency action," yet Bush/Cheney sat on their hands. And much of the National Guard apparatus of the states of Mississippi, Louisiana (where New Orleans is), and Alabama, including troops and Black Hawk helicopters which would have been indispensable to present rescue efforts, had been sent to Iraq by Bush/Cheney. US won't let Canada help Katrina Victims:
August 31, 2005 — Canadian planes are ready to load with food and medical supplies and a system called "DART" which can provide fresh water and medical supplies is standing by. Department of Homeland Security as well as other US agencies were contacted by the Canadian government requesting permission to provide help. August 31, 2005 — Venezuela has offered their Medical Airlift Command for the evacuation of people trapped in these devastated regions; Holland has offered the resources of their Public Works Ministry (who are the acknowledged World Experts for below sea level water evacuation procedures); Russia has offered over 100,000 temporary living structures, along with Military Personal to assist their American counterparts; Iran has offered 1 billion US Dollars in immediate assistance and guaranteed 5,000,000 barrels of oil at $35.00 US Dollars; China has offered their Military Rescue Forces (who are acknowledged as one of the best in the world for rescuing people in flood ravaged areas).
All of these offers, and more, the Military Leaders of the United States have declined, and for their previously stated reason: "The United States Government and its People Respectfully Decline your offer of assistance and refer you to our previous State Department Bulletin (NCO:13788) in which we had stated that this remains an internal action."

Who is jamming Communications in New Orleans?
September 2, 2005 — Ham radio operators are reporting that communications in and around New Orleans are being jammed. In addition, perplexed ham radio operators who were enlisted by the Federal government in 9/11 are not being used for hurricane Katrina Federal relief efforts . . . operators report that solar flares are not the source of the communications jamming . . .
Also, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reporting that no aircraft have been fired on over New Orleans or anywhere else in the area. Are the reports of shots being fired at aircraft an attempt by the Bush administration to purposely delay the arrival of relief to the city's homeless and dying poor? Airboaters stalled by FEMA:

New Orleans. It's worse than you are Hearing!
There are eight refineries located in the New Orleans to Mobile areas. Nearly half of all the gasoline in the country is refined here. These are all shut down, and they don't know for how long. Even if they were capable of running the refineries, there will be a huge shortage of workers as they have evacuated. All of Metairie, Slidell, Mandeville, Kenner, etc is under water and there is no place for them to come home to. Large oil super tankers will not be able to off load to the refineries even if they could run. The pipelines and transport facilities are all in jeopardy. Dumping of US dollar could Trigger 'Economic September 11'
August 29, 2005 — Warren Buffet, chairman of investment giant Berkshire Hathaway, is betting $US21 billion against the dollar. This is why currency speculator and hedge fund manager George Soros has also made a big bet against the dollar.
"Soros is one of the greatest currency speculators of all time. He was the guy who broke the British pound in the early 1990s by betting $US10 billion it would fall. He made a quick billion when it did. . . Clyde Prestowitz cites Paul Volcker, head of the Federal Reserve before Greenspan, who has said publicly there is a 75 per cent chance of a dollar crash in the next five years.
America's global hegemony is already under challenge, and that challenge is going to become more and more evident as the extent of the relative US economic decline becomes evident. Right now, the US dollar is probably 40 per cent overvalued versus the Japanese yen or the Chinese renminbi. Earth Trembles as Big Winds move In
July 1, 2005 — Hurricanes can trigger swarms of weak earthquakes and even set the Earth vibrating, according to the first study of such effects.
When Hurricane Charley slammed into Florida in August 2004, physicist Randall Peters of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, had a seismometer ready to monitor any vibrations in the Earth's crust. He did so for over 36 hours as Charley traveled briefly over Florida, then slid back out into the Atlantic.
As the hurricane reached land, the seismometer recorded a series of "micro-tremors" from the Earth's crust. This happened again as the storm moved back out to sea. Then, as Charley grazed the continental shelf on its way out, it caused a sharp seismic spike. "I suspect the storm triggered a subterranean landslide," says Peters.

Bracing for the Big One
July 2, 2005 — Two-thirds of the way between St. Louis and Memphis, between the towns of Tiptonville, Tenn., and New Madrid, Mo., the Mississippi River makes an outrageous loop northward, like it's avoiding something.
In the winter of 1811-12, this is where two blocks in the earth wrenched apart so savagely—the western block up, the eastern block down—that the Mississippi River pooled backward into the sunken block. The river, cutting and silting away, has done its best to hide the scar.
"The fact that it's there at all means it has been deforming and growing faster than the Mississippi River has been eroding it," said Arch Johnston, director of the Center for Earthquake Research and Information at the University of Memphis.
Research published June 23 in the journal Nature shows that the fault is coiling up like a spring again—at a rate comparable to the San Andreas fault in California. Geologists know that huge New Madrid earthquakes happened in the past. Now, for the first time, they can say the Reelfoot Fault is building up a pressure that could make it buckle again. . .
The Missouri Department of Transportation has spent $90 million stuffing steel and concrete into the section of highway from 14th Street to the Mississippi River. Illinois is doing a similar retrofit on the first half-mile of Interstate 64 in East St. Louis.
The stacked highways will be 10 times stronger than before and able to resist the shaking of a 1-in-500 year quake. Comment: In Newsletter 245 we reported on the earthquake that struck Fairbanks, Alaska, on "Good Friday," 1964, three days after God had spoken it by His Prophet. As a measure of the power of the spoken Word of God, it is the strongest earthquake ever recorded on the North American continent". In this and in Newsletter 212 we also spoke about the New Madrid Fault Line, an ancient 150-mile underground scar that runs from Arkansas to southern Illinois.
Brother Branham said, "I think that England would be sunk someday beneath the ocean. . ." (Recognizing Your Day and Its Message, p. 26:147). Quake Sounds reveal Earth 'Ripping Apart'
July 21, 2005 (CNN) — Scientists are gaining insight about December's devastating earthquake and tsunami from the actual sounds of the magnitude 9.3 quake in the Indian Ocean.
"It's really quite an eerie sound to hear the Earth ripping apart like that. We hear it on smaller earthquakes quite frequently but something of this scale that goes on for eight minutes is very much unprecedented," said Maya Tolstoy, a marine geophysicist at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. . . The dramatic soundtrack of the rupture of the Sumatra-Andaman Fault comes from a little known and sometimes hard-to-access resource. Former CIA Director Tenet threatens Disclosures?
September 2, 2005 — Former CIA director George Tenet, said to be the target of what the Washington Times called "a scathing report by Inspector General John Helgerson"—may go public with embarrassing disclosures about the Bush administration and its actions leading up to September 11, 2001. The CIA report, prepared as the result of a 17-month investigation by a team of 11 CIA officials, blames Tenet and several top CIA officials for its failure pre-9/11 to deal with al-Qaida. Jewish Leader's Scathing Attack on Muslim Leadership during Interfaith Launch
London, August 27, 2005 — President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Henry Grunwald, lashed out at the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), Iqbal Sacranie, for not participating in the annual Holocaust Memorial Day. The comments by the Jewish leader were not new but the impact was more devastating as it was made during a launch of a report on building community cohesion between British Jews and British Muslims.

Radioactive Wounds of War
New York, August 28, 2005 — Gerard Matthew thought he was lucky. He returned from his Iraq tour a year and a half ago alive and in one piece. But after the New York State National Guardsman got home, he learned that a bunkmate, Sgt. Ray Ramos, and a group of N.Y. Guard members from another unit had accepted an offer by the New York Daily News and reporter Juan Gonzalez to be tested for depleted uranium (DU) contamination, and had tested positive.
Matthew, 31, decided that since he'd spent much of his time in Iraq lugging around DU-damaged equipment, he'd better get tested too. It turned out he was the most contaminated of them all.
Matthew immediately urged his wife to get an ultrasound check of their unborn baby. They discovered the fetus had a condition common to those with radioactive exposure: atypical syndactyly. The right hand had only two digits. So far Victoria Claudette, now 13 months old, shows no other genetic disorders and is healthy, but Matthew feels guilty for causing her deformity and angry at a government that never warned him about DU's dangers.
US forces first used DU in the 1991 Gulf War, when some 300 tons of depleted uranium-the waste product of nuclear power plants and weapons facilities-were used in tank shells and shells fired by A-10 jets. . . Full story: ngwrc.org
The Last Days
Genesis 49:1, "Jacob called to his sons and said: Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what will befall you in the last days".
Jacob prophesied where each Tribe would be in "the last days" based upon their individual characters as shown in the events of their lives with which he was familiar, but seen through the eyes of God and already foretold in the birth names their mothers had breathed under inspiration as they groaned in delivery.
Israel types the Church. The name of each Church Age spelt the nature of the world in that Age while the saints followed the nature of the living creature or Gospel that guarded the way into the Presence under the Seal of their redemption and expressed the Life of the portion of Spirit opposing the god of this world in their Age as prophesied in II Peter 1:1-8.
"The last days" of which Jacob spoke is the Messianic age of redemption and completion, which for Israel will be the time of Jacob's trouble, the Great Tribulation of Daniel's Seventieth Week (Isaiah 2:2; Ezekiel 38:16; Hosea 3:5).
Following the Fall, the world existed for 2,000 years in a state of chaos culminating in the end of life for all but an election of believers in the Great Flood; during the next 2,000 years God called an election from Shem through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, ending in apostasy under the Law with the damnation of all but a remnant of Hebrews and proselytes who received Messiah; the 2,000 years in which we live is "the last days" or the Messianic age, which will be followed by the sabbatical millennium when Christ will restore the Kingdom to Israel and "earth shall be filled with the knowledge of glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea" (Acts 1:6; Habakkuk 2:14). This will be completed by the general resurrection and Judgment. The eighth day following the millennium is the eternity of a renewed heavens and earth.
I Timothy 4:1, "the latter times" refers to a period not as remote as "the last days," namely, the long days of papal and Greek anti-Christianity." II Timothy 3:1 refers to the very end of "the last days" for we Gentiles: it is the present time of Christ's second or 'parousia' when the apostate end-time conditions of the days of Noah and Christ are replicated along with the conditions of the days of Lot (II Peter 3:3-4; Matthew 24:3, 37-39).
For every Israelite or Gentile Christian, "the last days" followed the death and resurrection of Christ and commenced with the giving of the Spirit for regeneration on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:17; Hebrews 1:1-3). However when the prophets of the Old Testament describe "the last days" in relation to Israel they are speaking of Daniel's Seventieth Week, because when that nation, blinded by the Talmudic theology of their religious leaders, crucified Jesus, God turned to we Gentiles to call Messiah a Bride, a people for His Name. After the wedding He will return to Israel, and after three and a half years they will recognize their King and His Queen (Acts 15:7-9, 14-16; Isaiah 11:10-11; 54:1-5; Zechariah 12:10-13:9).
About 2,785 years ago Hosea wrote the history of Israel and Judah. He foretold the captivity and dispersal of the Northern Kingdom of Israel by Sennacharib in 721BC, Judah's captivity by Nebuchadnezzar in 586BC, and Israel's Spiritual revival in Daniel's Seventieth Week when they make reconciliation for iniquity and fulfill the sixfold purpose of Gabriel's instructions to Daniel (Daniel 9:24).
Hosea 5:6 – 6:3 "Israel's pride testifies to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them. With their flocks and herds they shall go up to sacrifice to the Lord; but it will be too late—they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them. Because they have dealt treacherously against the Lord: for they have begotten strange children (Heb. 'zuwr' or Serpent's seed—"as it was in the days of Noah"): suddenly they and all their wealth will disappear."
"Blow the horn in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah, sound the alarm at Bethaven: tremble, O land of Benjamin. Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of punishment: among the tribes of Israel I have declared what I have determined. The princes of Judah have become like those who remove a landmark (Deuteronomy 19:14; 27:17): therefore I will pour my wrath down upon them like a waterfall. Ephraim will be crushed and broken by My sentence because he willfully followed idolatry (II Kings 10:28-33; Micah 6:16). I will destroy Ephraim as a moth devours wool, and sap the strength of Judah like dry rot."
"When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, Ephraim went to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet he could not heal you, nor cure your wound. I will tear Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah I will tear and go away; I will carry them off and chase all rescuers away. I will go and return to My place, until they acknowledge their guilt, and look to Me for help again, for as soon as trouble comes they will search for Me and say: Come, and let us return to the Lord: for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up (Deuteronomy 32:39). After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall receive eternal Life. Let us press on to know the Lord and He will respond as surely as the morning sunrise; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth".
One day is as a thousand years with the Lord. Counting from the time of Hosea's prophecy in 780BC we are well into the third day; but considering the two days or 2,000 years of the Messianic Age have almost passed, and that our translation will shorten those days by seven years for Daniel's Seventieth Week, Messiah's return to Israel is imminent (Matthew 24:22).
God set no certain times for we Gentiles whom He has called and chosen as an election out of every nation and tongue of Adam's race scattered over the face of the earth. Israel on the other hand is one nation dwelling in one land and living under one Law (Ezekiel 37:15-22). Therefore Israel is God's timepiece with whom He has established set times of meeting like their sabbath day, new moons, the feast of Unleavened Bread, the feast of Weeks, and the feast of Tabernacles. These times are determined by observing the phases of the sun and the moon in Israel and cannot be celebrated from outside the Land. Besides this, the Old Covenant is without effect outside Israel's borders and it is incumbent upon every adult male to attend her three annual feasts. These can only be observed in Jerusalem, for God only meets man under the shed blood of the lamb (Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 16:1-6).
From the Servitude which commenced in 606BC until the royal edict of the twentieth year of Artaxerxes Longimanus in 445BC (Nehemiah 1:1-2:8), Judah's national independence was in abeyance as she was out of the Land so these years were not accounted to the nation. God determined that His exclusive dealings with Israel as regards election would terminate after just seventy weeks of years (Daniel 9). These 490 years of 360-days commenced on Nisan 14, 445BC with "the going forth of the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem." On the same day 483 years later, Israel killed Messiah according to the same prophecy. Thereafter God turned from that apostate nation to us Gentiles. And were there not one week of years remaining for Daniel's people and his city, God would destroy Israel and the world at the end of the Gentile dispensation.
For the first three and a half years or 1,260 days, the two Hebrew prophets who are in Israel today will reconfirm the New Covenant by revelation to an election, and that nation will be reborn in one day (Isaiah 66:8). Over the remaining three and a half years those prophets and the elect nation will be martyred; Armageddon will set in destroying all life on earth, and cleansing the city and the whole earth with fire.
The last seven years of the Messianic age will commence with the Seventh Trumpet. This will be marked by earthquakes that sink Los Angeles, split the Mount of Olives and destroy the Dome of the Rock. This event will signal Torah-believing Israelites to restore the sacrifices at Jerusalem and call blood Israelites from around the world to return to the Land of their forefathers. God's witnesses to Israel will receive their anointing to preach the mystery of the Seven Trumpet judgments that will reveal the Messiah they have rejected for 2,000 years.
In antediluvian days a generation was 120 years. Noah preached to the last generation of the old world, giving practical witness of his Message in the construction of the Ark; but they did not believe and the Flood destroyed them all. In our post diluvian world a generation is 40 years. Jesus confirmed Daniel's prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem and its Temple and Titus fulfilled the prophecy in AD70, one generation after the crucifixion (Matthew 24:1-3, 15-21; Daniel 9:26). Jesus' disciples preached His warning throughout their generation and the historian Josephus records how the Christians believed and escaped.
In 1965 Brother Branham prophesied the greatest earthquake since God formed man will sink Los Angeles, and for a generation Christians have warned whoever will listen, to flee for their lives. That generation will end next year. It may be later than you think.
When in fact there was no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God among them, arrogant pride caused Israel and Judah to fall from God's grace (Hosea 5:5). When God sent prophets with correction, they were rejected along with their Message (Hosea 4:1, 6; Matthew 23:33-35). And to refuse the Word of God's prophets is to reject God who is the Word.
Israel's national Spiritual revival to be accomplished through preaching the New Covenant in the first half of Daniel's Seventieth Week (Daniel 9:24, 27) will be the fulfillment of the vision of "dry bones" (Ezekiel 37:1-14). Speaking of Israel's soon-coming revival Hosea said, "We shall receive eternal Life. Let us press on to know the Lord by a clear revelation of His Word; then He will respond as surely as the morning sunrise; He shall revive and refresh us like the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth".
Hosea went on to say that unlike the essential and reliable latter and former rains, the sincerity of Ephraim and Judah was as ephemeral as a morning mist that quickly evaporates with the sunrise. And because of their poor character God sent prophets with His Word to hew these obdurate people into His image and spiritually slay recalcitrants. For He desired love and an intimate understanding of His will rather than sacrifice for sin and ignorance. Like Adam, Ephraim and Judah have dealt treacherously with God by violating the Covenant, and brought spiritual death upon their people as Adam's redemption of Eve brought death upon the whole of creation.
Hosea, whose prophecy covers the period from 780BC to Daniel's Seventieth Week, said even rabbis agree together and lurk to rob and murder people fleeing for asylum in a city of refuge. Spiritually they are robbing those who seek to know the Lord of the possibility of election and spiritually killing some who might otherwise receive salvation, by teaching Talmudic traditions that make the Word of God of no effect to them (Matthew 15:1-9). Hosea calls this religion Spiritual "whoredom," which is idolatry. Therefore Israel's deliverance will come through God's judgments upon Ephraim and Judah who will "harvest" the fruit of the seed they have sown (Hosea 6:2-11).
Israel's contrition in the last days will be attended with God's interposition in their behalf. So their self-humiliation (Isaiah 66:2, 5, 10) will precede their final prosperity (Zechariah 12:6-14).
Joel 2:28-32 describes the Latter Rain under the Seventh Trumpet and Sixth Seal. This is a fresh outpouring of the Spirit upon all flesh, causing each person to manifest the fruit of their beliefs (Matthew 5:45; Hebrews 6:7-8). Brother Branham said, "The world is going insane." If you wish to preview the firstfruits of this wicked and adulterous generation in the time of "Jacob's Trouble," consider the bold, bloody-minded lawlessness manifest in the planning and execution of Hurricane Katrina: Americans will not have martial law, but George II will give it to them. This outpouring will be Israel's former (or teaching) rain, but the latter (or harvest) rain that brings the rejected thorns and briers to maturity, causing them to persecute Christ's Bride and eventually martyr Israel and the "saved." The Bride will suffer but we will endure, for the latter rain will endue us with power to manifest that we are the Sons of God and grant us faith for rapturing grace.
