March 29, 2011 — The US and British inserted language in the UN resolution that allowed them to freeze the accounts of the nationalized oil company as well as the central bank of Libya. Well, before they have even won their coup, the CIA backed pro-west opposition has taken the time to announce that they have formed a new national oil company and central bank. The Israeli provided mercenaries: the US government ordered the CIA to recruit and pay thousands of Arab mercenaries to pose as Libyan rebels. The US wants it to appear as though Gaddafi mercenaries are killing Libyan civilians in order to get a UN sanctioned war of aggression against Libya.

The crisis in Libya is clearly a US/Israeli campaign of mass deception. Libya: City of London behind Muslim Extremism

March 24, 2011 — 2007 West Point study shows Benghazi-Darnah-Tobruk area was a world leader in Al Qaeda suicide bomber recruitment. . . The rebels are clearly not civilians, but an armed force. What kind of an armed force? . .

The most striking finding which emerges from the West Point study is that the corridor which goes from Benghazi to Tobruk, passing through the city of Darnah (also transliterated as Derna) represents one of the greatest concentrations of jihadi terrorists to be found anywhere in the world, and by some measures can be regarded as the leading source of suicide bombers anywhere on the planet. Darnah, with one terrorist fighter sent into Iraq to kill Americans for every 1,000 to 1,500 persons of population, emerges as suicide bomber heaven, easily surpassing the closest competitor, which was Riyad, Saudi Arabia. . .

This means that almost one fifth of the foreign fighters entering Iraq across the Syrian border came from Libya, a country of just over 6 million people. A higher proportion of Libyans were interested in fighting in Iraq than any other country contributing mujahedin.

But since the Al Qaeda personnel files contain the residence or hometown of the foreign fighters in question, we can determine that the desire to travel to Iraq to kill Americans was not evenly distributed across Libya, but was highly concentrated precisely in those areas around Benghazi which are today the epicenters of the revolt against Colonel Gaddafi which the US, Britain, France, and others are so eagerly supporting. . . These areas are in theological and tribal conflict with the central government of Colonel Gaddafi, in addition to being politically opposed to him. Whether such a theological conflict is worth the deaths of still more American and European soldiers is a question which needs urgently to be answered. . .

The specific institutional basis for the recruitment of guerrilla fighters in northeastern Libya is associated with an organization which previously called itself the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). During the course of 2007, the LIFG declared itself an official subsidiary of al Qaeda, later assuming the name of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). . .

The December 2007 West Point study concludes by formulating some policy options for the United States government. One approach, the authors suggest, would be for the United States to cooperate with existing Arab governments against the terrorists. . .

The West Point study also offers another, more sinister perspective. Felter and Fishman hint that it might be possible to use the former LIFG components of Al Qaeda against the government of Colonel Qaddafi in Libya, in essence creating a de facto alliance between the United States and a segment of the terrorist organization. . . This suggests the US policy we see today, that of allying with the obscurantist and reactionary al Qaeda fanatics in Libya against the Nasserist modernizer Qaddafi. . .

Al Qaeda is not a centralized organization, but rather a gaggle or congeries of fanatics, dupes, psychotics, misfits, double agents, provocateurs, mercenaries, and other elements. As noted, Al Qaeda was founded by the United States and the British during the struggle against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Many of its leaders, such as the reputed second-in-command Ayman Zawahiri and the current rising star Anwar Awlaki, are evidently double agents of MI-6 and/or the CIA. The basic belief structure of Al Qaeda is that all existing Arab and Moslem governments are illegitimate and should be destroyed, because they do not represent the caliphate which Al Qaeda asserts is described by the Koran. This means that the Al Qaeda ideology offers a ready and easy way for the Anglo-American secret intelligence agencies to attack and destabilize existing Arab and Muslim governments as part of the ceaseless need of imperialism and colonialism to loot and attack the developing nations. This is precisely what is happening in Libya today. . .

Gerald A. Perreira of the Black Agenda Report writes the following about the theological division between Gaddafi and the neo-Senussi of northeast Libya, as well as other obscuranitsts: 'Al Qaeda is in the Sahara on his borders and the International Union of Muslim Scholars is calling for [Qaddafi] to be tried in a court. . . [Qaddafi] has questioned the Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda from a Quranic/theological perspective and is one of the few political leaders equipped to do so. . . Benghazi has always been at the heart of counter-revolution in Libya, fostering reactionary Islamic movements such as the Wahhabis and Salafists. It is these people who founded the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group based in Benghazi which allies itself with Al Qaeda and who have, over the years, been responsible for the assassination of leading members of the Libyan revolutionary committees. . .

The Bush approach was to use the alleged presence of Al Qaeda as a reason for direct military attack. The Obama method is to use Al Qaeda to overthrow independent governments, and then either Balkanize and partition the countries in question, or else use them as kamikaze puppets against larger enemies like Russia, China, or Iran. This approach implies a more or less open fraternization with terrorist groups, which was signaled in a general way in Obama's famous Cairo speech of 2009. The links of the Obama campaign to the terrorist organizations deployed by the CIA against Russia were already a matter of public record three years ago.

One of the fatal contradictions in the current State Department and CIA policy is that it aims at a cordial alliance with Al Qaeda killers in northeast Libya, at the very moment when the United States and NATO are mercilessly bombing the civilian northwest Pakistan in the name of a total war against Al Qaeda, and US and NATO forces are being killed by Al Qaeda guerrillas in that same Afghanistan-Pakistan theater of war. Libya's 'Operation Odyssey Dawn': Kosovo Revisited

March 23, 2011 — Right from the very beginning of 'Operation Odyssey Dawn' something just didn't smell right about the Libyan 'revolution'. From the outset this was no peaceful, civilian insurrection such as those taking place elsewhere in the region. In other words it started life as a civil war heavily disguised—with Western help—as a 'peoples' revolution,' but one armed and dangerous.

"Diplomatic observers were shocked by the sweeping resolution passed by the Security Council, which allows "all necessary measures" to be used against Libya. The United Nations Charter strictly limits Chapter 7 military actions to threats to international peace and security, which Libya has never represented, but rules out interference in internal affairs of member states. The pretext cited in this case was the protection of defenseless civilians, but it is clear that the rebels constitute an armed military force in their own right. Since no state can be an aggressor on its own territory, the Security Council resolution stands in flagrant violation of the UN Charter. Russia, China, Brazil, Germany, and India abstained. Maltese Double Cross

The verdict of the Scottish judges who convicted one Libyan agent, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, on 270 counts of murder at the end of the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing trial failed to convince many observers—including relatives of the 270 victims—that justice had been done. An international observer appointed by the United Nations, Hans K?chler, called the verdict a "spectacular miscarriage of justice." Abdel Baset al-Megrahi was sent back to Libya because evidence was about to come to light in his appeal that may well have cleared him for good. The myth of Libyan involvement was about to be blown apart.

Allan Frankovich who produced "The Maltese Double Cross" subsequently died in mysterious circumstances. Produced back in 1994 and broadcast on UK Channel 4, his film is an investigation into the downing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Norwegian Lawmaker denies Holocaust

Jewish Biblical Manipulations

The True People of Israel are those following Jesus and not those claiming dubious ethnic roots. Zionist congregations are utterly wrong here, having fallen pray to Zionist propaganda during the last century or so.

Sadly, this wasn't the beginning of the Jewish Biblical manipulations; a more serious one was the change of texts in the Old Testament. Before the days of print, Bibles were copied in handwriting by scribes. They were organized in a guild that in the centuries before Jesus became part of a well known political party: the Pharisees. Eventually, they became the Talmudic rabbis we see today. This method was not only cumbersome and expensive, but it also created room for errors; actually all modern Hebrew Bibles carry with them unfixed errors. Typographical errors which couldn't be validated with an older version were left as they were, testimony to the care of the scribes. However, this method also allowed creating intentional manipulations of the text for political reasons. The old copies would eventually deteriorate beyond recognition and the new ones would carry the desired changes to posterity. It could be almost a perfect system for the Pharisees, however, at certain point they committed an error and today we can see clear signs of their alterations. . .

We discussed this event in Newsletter 221 and 245 in conjunction with the catastrophic phenomena associated with the manifestation of the Sixth Seal, including the sinking of Los Angeles which will trigger the global famine of Revelation 6:8.

The Seventieth Jubilee


Leviticus 25:1-2, 8-10, "The Lord spoke to Moses in the vicinity of Mount Sinai, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, When you enter the land which I give you, the land shall keep a sabbath to the Lord. Six years you shall plough your field, prune your vineyard and gather its fruits, but the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest for the land; you shall not plough your field nor prune your vineyard and gather its fruits. . . You shall count seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years, so that the seven weeks of years shall be forty-nine years. On the tenth day of the seventh month, on the Day of Atonement you shall sound a loud trumpet throughout the whole country. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants: it shall be a jubilee to you; and you shall return every man to his possession and every man to his family".

At the time of the deluge a man-made atomic conflagration moved Earth from its axis, tilting it at an angle of 23.5o from the vertical and increasing the distance of its orbit around the sun by about 1.5 million miles thus extending the year from 360 days divided into twelve months each of precisely 30 days. The wording of Genesis 7:11 – 8:8-14 indicates that from the inundation the primitive Hebrew calendar measures time by the Solar year, but computes time by lunar years: eleven months of 30 days, and a twelfth month of 24 days, when the lunar year or twelve revolutions of the moon occupy 354 days, and 25 days when the lunar year or the twelve revolutions of the moon occupy 355 days.

According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Energy equals Matter at the speed of light squared: E=MC2. Energy and Matter are actually a continuum. Matter is Energy slowed down and Energy is Matter speeded up. Spirit is Matter vibrating at an incredibly high rate, while Matter is Spirit slowed down into a form we can see; following the manifestation of the Sons of God we will recognize a glorified resurrected saint and this will supercharge our faith so we can change in the atoms. Brother Branham said, "Einstein proved before he died, if two missiles was coming fast enough, or two men coming down the road in an automobile, could be coming fast enough they could pass right through each other without even disturbing each other. . . Jesus was come into the room through a stone wall, the doors being shut and stood there, after He had His glorified body, and eat flesh. . . Hallelujah" (Abraham and His Seed after Him, #61-0423)!

In December 1979, Astronomer Barry Setterfield was given the book Mysterious Universe, a Handbook of Astronomical Anomalies. Much to his surprise he found it chronicled several hundred years of experiments by scientists which indicated the speed of light had been slowing. The book also presented reprints of articles from respected peer-reviewed journals which discussed the changing speed of light. His interest aroused, Barry began what he thought would be a couple of weeks of research to find the instrumental or human errors that would indicate this changing 'constant.' However, he found himself beginning research which has spanned thirty years of his life. His findings are documented in The Atomic Constants, Light, and Time. In my research I encountered his Creation and Catastrophe Chronology in which he tables estimated atomic times at the birth of the Patriarchs and the dramatic slowing of light speed from Adam to Abraham which is our constant.

Various considerations make it appear probable that Adam's year commenced at the autumnal Equinox, and whilst the nations may have continued to reckon their New Year's Day from the autumnal Equinox, at the exodus Israel changed to the vernal Equinox by Divine command. The Hebrew month was Lunar, but their year was Solar and from that time began in Spring with the month Nisan (Abib), the season of natural resurrection and revival of life, and the beginning of Israel's national life (Exodus 12:2). The later Judeans Hellenized their calendar by introducing the principle of intercalation using the Greek Metonic cycle of 19 years for this purpose, instead of adhering to the Mosaic principle of direct observation of the new Moon, and eschewing astronomical calculations altogether.

The Metonic cycle of the Moon repeats every 19 years corresponding to 235 lunar months, or 6,940 days, over which phases of the Moon almost land on the same dates of the year. This enables us to count the Moons from Tishri to Tishri over seven years. Depending on their placement in the Metonic cycle over those seven years the timespan will either be 7 x 12 = 84 Moons plus three Adar2 Moons = 87 Moons, or 7 x 12 = 84 Moons plus two Adar2 Moons = 86 Moons. Thus the 19 year cycle adjusts lunar months to the solar year, and each year that the calendars agree Israel's holy days occur exactly on the days of the month and the identical days of the week specified in the Torah. 1977 (Jewish year 5737) was the nineteenth year of that 19 year cycle.

The Israelite calendar is "Lunisolar" in contrast to our Gregorian calendar, which is purely Solar, and in which the months have lost their relation to the Moon. Since the Jews began adding an extra month seven times each 19 years there is no difference between the two systems in the counting of the years, however according to the Jubilee System, the Hebrew New Year is reckoned on the first day of the first month in the Spring equinox at sundown March 21, the day of the earth's turning point in its elliptic orbit around the sun which is actually March 22 as Hebrew days are reckoned from evening to morning. The New Year in the Jewish Lunar calendar is on Tishri 1, which is the feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:24), six months after the New Year in the Jubilee Torah Solar calendar. The Pharisees, that is Jewry, had the Sanhedrin return the calendar to the Babylonian Autumnal Equinox; however, it is imperative to compute the New Year, Sabbatical years and Jubilees according to the Solar calendar:

In Genesis 1:14-18 and 8:22 God set the Sun, Moon and Stars in their order to govern the Earth.

God also instituted a Jubilee cycle of seven weeks of years or forty-nine years; every seventh year was a sabbatical year in which the land must lie fallow and the fiftieth year was the Jubilee. It commenced with the Civil year, in the autumn of the sixth year of labor following the ingathering of harvest (and not with the Ecclesiastical year on Nisan 1) and lasted until the autumn of the seventh year when the cultivation of the land would commence again with the preparation of the ground for sowing seed for the eighth year. The Lord told Moses to reckon the Sabbatical years of the Jubilee cycle from the entering in to Canaan (Leviticus 25:2), which suggests the count began immediately at that time (Joshua 11:23). This agrees with the command to proclaim the Jubilee on the tenth day of the seventh month throughout all the land (Leviticus 25:9, 21-22). The fiftieth or Jubilee year is also a Sabbatical year, during which again no farming was to be done. People were to return to their ancestral homelands, and all land was to be returned to the original titleholders as determined at the time of entrance into the Promised Land of Canaan. Debtors were released and Hebrew slaves granted liberty. All of the spontaneous produce was common property, so the poor would not want for lack of sustenance. Only agricultural labour was suspended; mercantile activities and employment carried on as usual so that stores laid up for the Sabbatical and Jubilee years would be commercially available. The proclamation of the year of liberty (Ezekiel 46:16-18) announced at the time of the evening sacrifice on the close of the Day of Atonement just after the great reconciliation of the people with God was most appropriate (Leviticus 25:9).

To reiterate, the Sabbatical year commenced from the Day of Atonement on the sixth year to the Day of Atonement on the seventh year, and the Jubilee is the fiftieth year after the cycle begins.

Brother Branham said, "A striking statement: from the time God made the promise to Abraham—don't miss this—from the time God made the promise to Abraham, Genesis 12:3, to the time of Christ being rejected in AD33, by the Jews, according to Galatians 3:16 and 17, and according to Ussher's (U_s_h_e_r_s) Ussher's Chronology of the Hebrews, the power of God was with the Jews [he means Israelites] exactly 1954 years. God dealt with the Jews 1954 years according to the chronology of the Jews and according to Galatians 3:16 and 17. I got many more Scriptures, but just give that. Then after they rejected Christ, He turned to the Gentiles to take a people for His Name. You want a Scripture on that, the place? Acts 15:14.

"Now, counting the time, we find that we have exactly—listen—seventeen years left, and we will have the same span of time given to us as God dealing with us in the power of the Holy Spirit since AD33 until 1977, the same span of time of 1954 years. God deals with us the same as He did with the Jews [he means Israelites]. See? How about that"?

"Now, mark down in your book a little Scripture here I want to give you. Leviticus 25, begin with the 8th verse. God calls a Jubilee every forty-ninth year; the fiftieth year was the Jubilee. We know that. We understand that. From the first Jubilee of Leviticus 25:8, in 1977 will be the seventieth Jubilee, making exactly 3,430 years. Jubilee means the going up, the release" (The Seventy Weeks of Daniel, p. 131:195-197).

According to Bishop Ussher, God made His promise to Abram (Genesis 12:2) in 1921BC, and Israel rejected and murdered their Messiah in AD33. Thus in Isaiah 61:1-2 and Luke 4:16-19 Jesus was proclaiming the Pentecostal Jubilee Israel had rejected at Sinai (Exodus 19:16); this would follow His full Atonement on Calvary as our Kinsman Redeemer to deliver the Old Testament saints from imprisonment in the grave and release the New Testament elect from sin's bondage through the blindness of Jewish fables and pagan myths to Spiritual revelation (Matthew 27:50-53; Ephesians 4:8-32).

The bolded words of the Prophet confirm what I have taught. 1921BC + AD33 = 1954 years, but AD33 + AD1954 = 1987, not 1977 may indicate a calendar error. 3430 years ? 49 = 70 Jubilees, and as the first Sabbatical year fell seven years after Israel entered Canaan (Joshua 11:23), 1450BC - 7 + 1987 = 3430 years. The Divine purpose in Brother Branham's seemingly contradictory mathematics may be explained by the following Scriptures and because his critics, disregarding his qualifications to the prophecy and having not the Spirit mistook the "letter" of his Words and the Scriptures not understanding and what he meant. I should have thought he would calculate the Jubilee as fifty years.

Two witnesses affirm that God hides in humility and reveals Himself in simplicity: Luke 10:41, "Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Your sight."

Jesus Christ is the mystery of God revealed to man, and in Matthew 16:13-19 Jesus told His disciples he would build His Church on the rock of faith, which is the Divine understanding of that mystery. Peter, having caught the revelation, was promised the blessing of unlocking the Kingdom of heaven, which is the new birth, by opening the understanding of three thousand Israelites and proselytes to eternal Life on the day of Pentecost—the antitype of the first Pentecost when the Lord slew three thousand faithless Israelites and proselytes (Acts 2:5-11, 41-43; Exodus 32:28). And at a subsequent time for the Samaritans (Acts 8) and Gentiles from various nations in the house of Cornelius (Acts 10).

As recorded in Matthew 28:19 Jesus commanded His disciples to baptize converts "in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." And by revelation Peter commanded "as many as the Lord our God shall [ever] call to be baptized in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 2:38-39; 4:12; Luke 24:47; Ephesians 5:20; Colossians 3:17). And so we have to this very day.

These simple mysteries do not register with those in the world church system (Matthew 7:13-14; Mark 16:16).

In I Corinthians 2:1-16 Paul confessed, "When I came to you, Brethren, proclaiming the revelation of God's Message, it was without superiority of eloquence or wisdom. For I determined to present nothing to you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I came to you in weakness, with fear and considerable trepidation. My speech was plain and my Message not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, that your faith might not rest on human wisdom but on Divine strength."

"Yet I do impart wisdom among mature Christians, although it is not the wisdom of this world nor of the great men of this world, who are doomed to fall. Instead we express Divine wisdom in the form of a mystery—secret, hidden wisdom which God decreed before the world for our glorification. None of this world's rulers have understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has the human heart conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him'."

"But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For among men who knows the thoughts of his fellow except that man's inner spirit? Similarly no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. And God has given us His Spirit, not the spirit of the world that we might understand the gifts freely bestowed on us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but in Words taught by the Holy Spirit, interpreting spiritual things to those who possess the Spirit. But the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit: for they are folly to him and he is unable to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man has insight into everything, and that bothers and baffles the natural man who cannot judge him. For who knows the mind of the Lord well enough to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ".

So we come to statements Brother Branham made concerning 1977. "The Laodicean Age began around the turn of the Twentieth Century, perhaps 1906. How long will it last? As a servant of God who has had multitudes of visions, of which NONE has ever failed, let me predict (I did not say prophesy, but predict) that this age will end around 1977. If you will pardon a personal note here, I base this prediction on seven major continuous visions that came to me one Sunday morning in June, 1933. . ."

[These seven major continuous visions are THUS SAITH THE LORD, the first five have already come to pass precisely as prophesied]. "Then in the sixth vision there arose up in America a most beautiful, but cruel woman. She held the people in her complete power. I believed that this was the rise of the Roman Catholic Church, though I knew it could possibly be a vision of some woman rising in great power in America due to a popular vote by women."

"The last and seventh vision was wherein I heard a most terrible explosion. As I turned to look I saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America."

"Based on these seven visions, along with the rapid changes which have swept the world in the last fifty years, I PREDICT (I do not prophesy) that these visions will have all come to pass by 1977. And though many may feel that this is an irresponsible statement in view of the fact that Jesus said that 'no man knoweth the day nor the hour.' I still maintain this prediction after thirty years because, Jesus did NOT say no man could know the year, month or week in which His Coming was to be completed. So I repeat, I sincerely believe and maintain as a private student of the Word, along with Divine inspiration that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and usher in the millennium"  (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, p. 321:2—323).

Until now we did not employ the math of Biblical Chronology to identify 1977 as a Jubilee year. Rather we taught Brother Branham's seven major continuous visions and explained how the world church system had ended by 1977 which was the age of accountability to the fullness of the Message completed in 1965. We knew this was so because by the mid-70s the revelation began to open to a minuscule number of Message believers, calling the Bride into "the unity of the faith" by the "shout" of I Thessalonians 4:16 (Matthew 25:6; Ephesians 4:13; Revelation 18:4). This created division between the wise and foolish virgin, for as the Lord said: "You can't teach Pentecostal babies supernatural things," but it was our Jubilee or Spiritual release from "Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth".

Brother Branham said, "I sincerely believe and maintain as a private student of the Word, along with Divine inspiration that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and usher in the millennium." It has done this . . . for the Bride. "The third pull was the opening of them Seven Seals, to reveal the hidden Truth that's been sealed in the Word." When Brother Branham made the third pull, the Lord said, "Now, don't tell nobody about this. You been trying to explain that other [the first and second 'pulls']. Don't tell nobody about this" (Anointed Ones at the End-Time, p. 57:262). This ministry brings Christ's Bride to maturity in "speaking conditions" for the manifestation of the Sons of God following the Seventh Trump and thereby "ushers in the Millennium".

In Newsletter 677 we quoted Brother Morris Ungren who put it this way: "[Halley's] comet approached at a 40o angle. Forty is the number of judgment [or probation, trial, and chastisement]. In 1986 when the comet reappeared, only those who were looking for it saw it. In 1977 it was just passing Uranus with its three rings of light. That was when the third pull began, it was the year of Jubilee, as the prophet said." And only those who were looking for the 'parousia' Coming of the Son of man saw it.

Great Step and the Prophet's ChamberIn his book, "The Mount of God: The Story of the Great Pyramid," Pastor Ungren illustrated the Great Step and the Prophet's Chamber, and said, "The Prophet [William Branham] enters the Prophet's Chamber in 1909 and years later the Lord reveals to him His Message. The Great Step is the "little introduction plank," as Brother Branham mentions [God's Only Provided Place of Worship, p. 33:217]. The Great Step starts at [the birth of Brother Branham in] 1909 at point 'A'; rises to 1946 at point 'B'. The overcomer of the Church Ages is led by the Prophet into the Prophet's Chamber at point 'C,' around 1977 (1909+68). (The distance 68" under the Great Step is included twice: it is included in the 1881" of the total length of the Grand Gallery and it is included in the Great Step). See Newsletter 663.

I have revised some notes provided to me long ago by Pastor Morris Ungren according to Martin Anstey's Chronology: The Romance of Bible Chronology. An Exposition of the Meaning, and a Demonstration of the Truth, of every Chronological Statement contained in the Hebrew Text of the Old Testament (Marshall Brothers, Ltd., London, Edinburgh, New York, 1913). His Anno Hominis (AH), the Year of Man chronology commences with the creation of the first Adam and runs to the birth of the last Adam in 4038AH. To convert to BC years, simply subtract from 4043.

The Author does not determine the date of the birth of our Lord, however he regards the Crucifixion or the "Cutting off of the Messiah" as having taken place in accordance with the prophecy of Daniel 9:25, 483 prophetic years which is 476 (365.25-day years) after "the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem" in 445BC (Nehemiah 2;1-8). Hence the Bible date for the Crucifixion will be AD30, and if our Lord began His ministry at the age of 30 and was crucified at the age of 33, the Bible date for the birth of our Lord was 4BC.

According to fragments of a Roman inscription discovered recently at Antioch, a cornerstone in Caesarea, and ancient almanacs from Sippar described in PARADE Magazine and mentioned by Brother Branham in "Is this the Time of the End, Sir," Jesus was born on April 6, 7BC. Brother Branham who was himself born on April 6, 1909 said that according to history and archaeology, our Christian calendar should have commenced in 7BC, so that although I am writing in March, 2011, according to Anstey's Chronology this should actually be the AD2018.

In calculating the date of the seventieth Jubilee it is unnecessary to concern ourselves with days, prophetic
or Julian years because we are dealing with post-diluvian Solar years of approximately 365.25 days. Thus:

From Gilgal (Leviticus 25) to Jesus Christ    1,490
From the birth of Jesus Christ to 1977 + 1,977
      3,467 years
Divided by 49 = 70.75 Jubilees

Jubilees count in periods of 49 years since the fiftieth or Jubilee year is the same as the first year of the
succeeding week of seven years. Thus two Jubilees would be 99 years, and three Jubilees 148 years.

There is only ONE place in the Old Testament where we have a secular historical date corresponding to a Biblical date. It is the Scriptures indicating the length of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar whose nineteenth year corresponds to the eleventh year of Judah's last king, Zedekiah (II Kings 25:1-8). There are other secular dates such as the first year of Cyrus (where II Chronicles 36:22 agrees with Ezra 1:1), but that can only be determined by applying the seventy prophetic years of Babylonian Captivity mentioned by Jeremiah and Daniel. This is a valid indication, but it involves the interpretation of prophetic time and not simple historical facts like matching the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar with the eleventh year of Zedekiah. And in the New Testament there is also only ONE place where secular history intersects precisely with a New Testament chronological statement. That is the fifteenth year of Tiberius Caesar (Luke 3:1-2), which matches the year Jesus commenced His ministry following his baptism by John and anointing with the Shekinah as God's Messiah and Holy Temple (Daniel 9:25), and was either a Sabbatical year (Tishri AD27 to Tishri AD28) or was pointing to the sacrifice of the Passover Lamb for the True Atonement, completing the sixty-ninth Week of Daniel's prophecy and the Pentecostal Jubilee.

I am so thankful election is not based upon one's ability to reckon Biblical chronologies to the ntho in six thousand years of man's sinful history rather than grace through faith. I note the Hong Kong Observatory reckons 2012 will be the year of the Dragon. We shall see. nl679.htm

Of that glad Millennium day,
When our blessed Lord shall come
And catch His waiting Bride away.
Oh, the world is groaning, crying
For that day of sweet release,
When our Saviour shall come back to earth again.
